The Tracy and West golf teams took second place in their respective league tournaments on Monday.

Tracy finished after first-place Lodi, which scored 458 Monday at Swenson Park Golf Course in Stockton. Lodi finishes as the San Joaquin Athletic Association champions after the Flames also placed first in the SJAA standings.

Tracy’s score of 533 includes Jennifer Kim’s second-place individual score of 85, right after Lodi’s Marissa Hinchman, who shot 79. Tracy’s Devin Nicholson shot 105, Annie Fox shot 108, Shelby Devlin 114, Emily Dellagana 121 and Sarah Price shot 123.

West logged a team score of 610, to place second after St. Mary’s at Elkhorn Country Club in Stockton. St. Mary’s also was the leader in the league standings during the fall sports season, and is the Tri-City Athletic League champion.

St. Mary’s Niki Kelly of Tracy was first place with a score of 84 and West’s Alice Trisri was second place with a score of 86. West’s other scores were: Julia Ramirez 114, Ashley Gonzales 132, Emma Brackett 136, Kaitlyn Adams 145 and Nicole Danielson 142.

Both local teams qualify for the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I South tournament next Monday, Oct. 25, at Elkhorn Country Club, where teams and individuals will have a chance to qualify for the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Tournament on Nov. 1 at The Reserve in Stockton.

Teams from Millennium and Kimball high schools also play in their league championships this week. Those results will be posted once they become available. Kimball aims to qualify players for the Division IV tournament Oct. 25 at Stevinson Ranch Golf Course, and Millennium is going for the Division V tournament at Dry Creek Ranch Golf Course in Galt on Oct. 25.
