EDITOR,

We have very nice people here in Tracy.

I am an old senior citizen. It was grandparents’ day at my grand-daughter’s school, so I decided to walk over there. I was halfway there when I fell down. I could not get up.

Then, a nice lady in a car stopped and asked me if I was OK. I told her I couldn’t get up, so she came over to help me. Another woman came over, and they both pushed me up.

The lady from the car took me to the school. This made a very happy grandparents’ day for me. I want to thank the nice ladies.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. There still are a lot of good and caring people here. I hope you made an appointment to see your doctor to make sure that everything's ok. It's important to be sure about these things. Many thanks to the ladies who helped you recover from the fall and took you safely to the school.

I second what Shelly13 said. Unfortunately it seems only the negative behavior in people makes the news.

Standing ovation goes to the good lady who helped you, and thank you Mrs. Beck for sharing this with us.

This is the best story ever written by the Tracy Press. It somehow just reminded me of the parable Jesus told of the two pennies and how a little giving goes a long way.

That is a great story. It is nice to hear that there are still good people out there. I hope you are OK.
