Someone reported a possible drunk driver in a Ford Mustang heading west along Clover Road at 9:30 p.m. Thursday. As the person talked to police someone else called 9-1-1 to report that the Mustang crashed head-on into a Honda Accord at the intersection of Clover Road and Holly Drive, and the Mustang drove off.

Police called an ambulance for the person in the Honda, but information on that person’s injuries was not available.

Police found the Mustang at Grant Line Road and Tracy Boulevard and arrested the driver, identified as Daniel Rubio, 20, on suspicion of felony drunken driving and hit-and-run. He was taken to San Joaquin County Jail and held on $63,000 bail pending a Monday afternoon court hearing in Manteca.

His passenger, a 21-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and was booked and released.

Tracy Police logged 192 calls Thursday, including the following reports:

12:34 a.m.: A woman at Camelia Drive and Kavanagh Avenue reported a commotion outside her house, including running and the sound of someone jumping over a fence, and suspected that someone was also trying to break into cars. Police learned that one group of young men was chasing another group. There were no arrests.

6:45 a.m.: Police arrested Filemon Aquiles Barreros, 27, on suspicion of having false citizenship/immigration documents and driving without a license after an officer stopped a Chevrolet pickup at Byron and Grant Line roads. Barreros was taken to San Joaquin County Jail and held without bail. He has a Monday afternoon court date in Manteca, and the U.S. Border Patrol was also notified.

10:20 a.m.: A woman on Rockingham Way told police that someone ransacked her house, but she had yet to find out if the burglars had taken anything.

10:22 a.m.: A man called police to report that someone had his social security number and ran up $30,000 worth of debt in his name.

10:44 a.m.: Police went to a business the 2900 block of Grant Line Road for a report of a woman yelling, banging on walls and trying to break windows. Police learned that she was angry after being dropped from a beauty college program.

11:00 a.m.: A man on the 1900 block of Woodcrest Court reported that a woman had found his lost dog, but refused to give it back, claiming that since she had the dog for more than five days she was entitled to keep it. The man said he had reported the dog missing, but no one ever told him that the dog had been found. Police told him that it’s a matter for the civil court.

3:32 p.m.: Three teenage boys in a silver Volvo pulled up in the West Valley Mall parking lot in front of Barnes and Noble, 3150 Naglee Road, and proceed to put on disguises, including dark hoodies, glasses and fake mustaches. People reported further suspicious behavior by the teens, and police finally tracked them down. They said they were trying to sneak up on, and take photos of, a friend who just started working at Hot Dog on a Stick.

4:56 p.m.: Someone reported three men drinking beer next to MaxSaver Liquor, 1162 N. Tracy Blvd., and one appeared to have trouble standing. Police gave them a citation.

6:13 p.m.: Two men wearing ski masks in a white Plymouth were seen driving around the area of Schulte Road and Tracy Boulevard. Police caught up with them near the Wells Fargo bank in the Raley’s shopping center and took them into custody at gunpoint. It turned out that they hadn’t intended to commit any crimes, they were just wearing the masks “to freak people out.”

8:09 p.m.: Police were called to referee a parking dispute on the 500 block of Pombo Square Drive. One man had parked his car in front of his house, but his neighbor wanted him to move it because someone else had parked in front of the neighbor’s house, forcing the neighbor to park in his driveway. Threats to deliberately crash into cars were noted, and police took a report.

Whoever the genius was who looked up the internet definition of "troll" was deliberately omitted the end part of the definition.

"It may consist of an apparently foolish contradiction or common knowledge, a deliberately offensive insult to the readers of the news group or a broad request for trivial follow-up postings"

Gee, I wonder who it is that constantly rants about race in almost all of their posts?

Could it be? Nah!

Troll (Internet)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

A troll is usually a punk kid who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking adults into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion

tinfoil, seriously what the heck is wrong with you? you think i came on here to find some nice older men to talk to? i didn't know that the tracy press' website was specifically for old men? i came to defend myself no matter if it was people my own age or older people. since when i am not able to speak my opinion?

seriously, everything you had said before this at least made sense. there really must be something seriously wrong with you if you think i'm some older person.

you're the sick one, you old freak. i'm done posting on here before i get raped by someone like you. thanks to the ones who gave constructive criticism, specifically fortheunderdog and concernedneighbor, i actually appreciate it.

people like tinfoil though are the ones who are the real problem with websites like this. accusing me of being a 40 year old. i don't have to hide who i am to defend myself online.

"Today's Internet does allow children direct contact with adults.". Of course it does. What's to stop it? A child with a serious problem who can't talk with parents can websearch help from adults. So can and do adult males seek out childrens' websites and attempt to interact. This is where parents with kids comes in. If you've got a kid or kids with a computer with Internet access, sit them down and explain the dangers to them.

"Today's Internet does allow children direct contact with adults."

Oh really? Where did you get your information from? Here's are quotes from a few websites:

"the Internet is an especially perilous place for minors".

"615 arrests of online child predators in cases involving actual minors as victims (up 21 percent from 2000)"

"the proportion of minors aged 12-17 on the Internet rose from 73 to 93 percent"

"More than 30 million children in the United States use the Internet on a regular basis"

"the results of a recent national survey indicated that one in five youth is sexually solicited over the Internet annually"

"the tale of a 12 yr old girl who ran away with a former U.S. Marine she met on the internet"

It just struck me as major creepy. Kids stick with their own age level. You won't find an 18 year old hanging around 12 year olds. Nor will a 13 year old girl in cyberspace converse pervo sexual stuff with some 40 year old guy. Greg156 set off WW2 London bombing air raid sirens moments after he began posting here. Something was wrong. Something was out of whack. Today's Internet does allow children direct contact with adults. In reality that's as rare as hens' teeth. I was 18 in 1964. Adults were gross to me then. They had liver spots on their arms/hands. Their teeth were yellow. They had fat bellies and had that 'old person' smell. If greg156 actually is 18 years old he's a freakazoid.

Maybe greg156 is wearing "verbal" ski-mask, just to freak us out? Usually, when one person feels wronged by the law they take the next step without revealing too much (lawyer's advice) to anyone. He said quite a bit.

Maybe his dad is laughing at us, too?

Hope this is not a joke. Many advices are sincere.

Here ya go. I liked detective Dale Koons. We got along well. I helped him with his website. Damn near destroyed me when he died. It was greg156's repeated comment that "You don't know who I really am" that got my curiosity going. Greg's done a first class job posing himself as a victim. For sure what he achieved by posting his inane victim crap was get a bevy of father-figures interacting with him.

---------------------------

Cyber-predators are out there, and they’re not just after our children. They seek out anyone who is vulnerable. Some have created web sites for victims; their purpose is to seduce, exploit and stalk persons already suffering from past abuse. Others lurk in chat rooms of legitimate and illegitimate sites for the same purpose. Posing as victims, interchanging their character as male or as female, they create detailed postings. They create sexualized, fictional accounts of their own sexual abuse, encouraging real victims to share intimate details of abuse. Exploiting these victim’s accounts, they seek out “the child within” while enjoying their secret fantasies as the abuser. Ultimately they reveal themselves to their victims, shattering again an abused child. The more dangerous of these predators stalk their victims through cyberspace and, sometimes, into real life.

Be careful out there,

dKoons

This whole thing's creepy and disturbing. What we're got here is a high school boy craving attention from older, male father figures. I feel stupid for having fallen for this game. No-one knows who greg156 really is. Could be a kid or a 40 year old boylover getting off on the replies to his BS. This is actually not uncommon on the web. My recently-deceased police detective friend in Indiana knew all about this.

This post has just about been picked clean and greg156 gives me the impression that what he and his friend did was overblown by the public and TPD. That's my opinion from your posts greg 156.

And greg, don't get into a duel of sarcasm with tinfoil. From other posts this is the way he is and I don't think anything anyone says will change him. So to continue any dialog with him is fruitless. Be the bigger man and step away.

I hope you read my last entry to you and learned something. If you did ... good. If you didn't ... then all I've got to say is "It's people like you who give people like me in LE job security".

tinfoil, i love how you call me a ten year old as if you're so damn mature. you're the one picking on an 18 year old. grow up. you've sunk so low as to compare to a gang member? riiiight, real mature buddy. i can assume you're like most other men you're age, racist and afraid of the youth. i can't blame you though, you're parents raised you that way, just like apparently my father raised me so that i'd rob wells fargo like you've tried to say.

and honestly, i was never "dissed". and i never even said that i was, not once.

and as for the gang problem, i even have a story about how apparent it really is. i was at the mall on a weekday night last week, and i was wearing a san jose sharks hat. an old chevy stepside pulled up next to us as we got in the car (completely unprovoked) and asked my friend, "you're friend from san jose?". i've lived in tracy my whole life, my friend didn't make eye contact and was just like "nah he isn't." the passenger in the truck then proceded to yell "then why you wearing a san jose hat? you're going to get yourself in some trouble" (or something to that degree). i wouldn't say its gang related as much as it is a problem with people trying to represent their home towns. these guys were driving around looking for trouble though, with normal innocent people leaving the mall.

Gangs ARE everywhere. They've even infiltrated our military. Our prisons nationwide are filled with young idiots who signed onto the diss thing. To kill someone because he dissed you comes from the prison mentality. Dissing can be as simple as maintaining eye contact with a gang member for two or three seconds. If he's got a gun, that makes him a big man. So he shoots, kills someone, does 25 to life in prison. Gang members are really frigging stupid. If you watch the Cops tv series or 48 Hours you see this all the time.

As for greg156 posting here it's like a ten year old barging into an adults' cocktail party. You think little Greg is in his bedroom reading Tom Swift and His Atomic Earth Blaster, but no. He hears adults in the livingroom cavorting, comes running, demands attention.

gang members are everywhere....

last week (Wednesday), outside walsgreen, someone yelled at me out of the blue "The way you drive, you gonna kill someone". First I was shocked and surprised since I didn't drive in any unsual way. Secondly, if someone has any issues, they should call cops - not confront other citizens.

Then he kept yelling at me loudly and I kept ignoring him thinking he may be mentally retard or a gand member. After-all we all human, I gave him middle fingure and walked inside the Walgreen store to collect my medicine.

Shockingly, He came running behing and started arguing with bad words. I wish I was not running a 103 temperate, otherwise it would have been really bad for the guy. He probabily had no clue is dealing with a 6 dan black belt.

Unwillingly, I had say sorry for showing him the middle fingure and expected him to appologize for starting the argument. He didn't appolozise and walked away abusing more....

this is happening on the open streets in our town. For sure these people have no respect for their life and others... they moved from the places like Oakland and wants to live the same lifestyle as they were living before.

Yes, I surely think we need new gangs to deal with such people. Police is clueless and helpless, and they reaches to help when help is no longer needed.

btw, I did call 911 and it took 11 minutes for an operator to attend me. Luckily I had the vehicle number.

Tinfoil,

I'm concerned about your constant remarks against minorities. In your last post you wrote, "That's a lesson that applies equally to greg156 and to black and Hispanic gang members".

Are you aware that all ethnic/racial groups have organizations, or gangs? Why you always have to single out one or two races is beyond me.

Let me enlighten you as to what races have gangs or organizations, sometimes called organized crime. Either way, it's all the same to me. Here is just a sampling:

White: Nazi Low Riders, Aryan Brotherhood, Hell's Angels, Mongols, Public Enemy Number 1 (PENI), Aryan League, Wonderland Gang, Skinheads, and the KKK.

Black: Bloods, Crips, other local gangs in the area of Compton/Watts/Oakland/Richmond/Sacramento/, Black Disciples, and the Black Panthers.

Hispanic: Nortenos, Surenos, Mexican Mafia, Latin Kings, La Raza, and 18th Street Gang.

Asian: Color of Blood, Sons of Death, Little Rascals, Wah Ching, Joe Boys, Asian Boyz, ABT, and Vietnamese Boyz.

Middle Eastern: Taliban, Al-Qaida, Fremont Afghani Gang.

If anyone is offended that I did not name any gangs affiliated with their racial group please accept my apologies.

What happened was an 18 year old wet behind the ears kid thought he was 'dissed' (disrespected) by the cops. Then he goes on this board, snivels like a 10 year old and gets dissed again. This 'diss' crap has been pounded into kids' brains today. They've been told that respect comes automatically. It's a right. No,it's not. It's earned. Same as freedom cannot exist without responsibility. That's a lesson that applies equally to greg156 and to black and Hispanic gang members.

Well greg156, it appears you're still in denial that you did anything wrong. Your father further puts you in that mindset by telling you that the situation was a joke. I can see the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

So let me say a few words to you as your father should have said to you from the beginning. You're old enough to know right from wrong. Putting on a ski mask was not a smart thing to do. The police were well within their offical duty to make a felony stop on the car you were in and take you and your friend out at gunpoint. There was no overkill in the number of police that responded. As I used to say when I was working..."There's strength in numbers". You're in immature 18 yr old who needs firm adult guidance. You sound like a good kid who just makes the wrong choices. So keep in mind that whatever immature things you choose to do in the future, you should be prepared to accept the consequences. Growing up without both parents is a hard thing for any child. I lost my father when I was 13. My mother raised 3 kids and worked a full time job. I was the oldest. I learned at a young age the responsibilities of an adult. I did everything around the house that my father would have done. In your case it's just the opposite. I don't want to sound like I'm preaching but at I do have about 40 yrs of life experience over you. Take the comments from this post and learn from them. What everyone is telling you here is practically identical so everyone can't be that wrong. Remember, also, that you're 18 now and juvenile hall doesn't come into the picture anymore if you're ever arrested. You'll be in with the big boys and an 18 yr old in jail/prison isn't a pretty picture. You reap what you sow.

This is what your father should have said to you. Saying the matter was a joke wasn't exactly a responsible thing to say.

I think there is a difference between ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance can be cured by time and experience as you pionted out. Stupidity has no cure.

Of course there are those few people who think they are destined to become both intelligent and stupid at the same time.

Maybe this young man could find a detour from the past and get hooked up with Hire Me First?

There would have to be a willingness from all interested parties, if that interest exists, but it might be the only happy ending.

Hope the TP will do a follow up, if that were to happen.

to Helloaudio: Judging from greg156's commentary I think we'll just have to let nature take it's course. All kids are liberals. They get more conservative later on after life beats the crap out of them. Greg's got surprises coming when he tries his nonsense at age 30 or so. Ha,ha.
