Reward offered after robbery

Tracy police are searching for a gunman who robbed a Subway sandwich shop on Naglee Road Monday night.

Police responded to the call at the sandwich shop, 2449 Naglee Road, at 10 p.m., shortly after a young man entered the restaurant and told the clerk he was “robbing her.”

The man pulled an unknown-caliber handgun from his jacket and left with the cash. He was described as a Latino or light-skinned black male in his 20s, about 6 feet tall and weighing perhaps 140 pounds.

Anyone with information on the robbery can call Tracy Crime Stoppers at 831-6847 or Detective Trevin Freitas at 831-6625. If the information leads to an arrest and conviction, the caller may be eligible to receive a reward of up $1,000 through Tracy Crime Stoppers.
