A man on the 2000 block of Krohn Road called police at 8:46 p.m. Tuesday and said he caught a homeless man on his property and tried to hold him for police. The trespasser reportedly told the property owner that he had every right to be there, and said he was going to come back and break all of the windows. Police found the homeless man in the parking lot of Plasencia Fields, and told him to stay away from the other man’s house.

Tuesday

Tracy Police logged 156 calls on Tuesday, including the following reports:

1:25 a.m.: A woman on the 500 block of West Central Avenue told police that she heard noises at her front and rear windows and believed someone was trying to get into her house. Police arrived but found no prowlers.

1:51 a.m.: Police arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving after a traffic stop at 11th Street and Alden Glen Drive. He went to San Joaquin County Jail, where he was booked and released, and his car was towed.

3:53 p.m.: Police went to the 1500 block of Wall Street for a report of two men choking each other. The men ran off when police arrived. Police found a woman with a possible broken arm and called an ambulance for her.

11:05 a.m.: A man in a green Nissan Altima drove up the Winco construction site, 2850 Pavilion Parkway, stole and $1,500 laser sight from a truck and drove off, according to a caller at the site.

3:34 p.m.: Planned Parenthood on the 1400 block of North Tracy Boulevard reported about five people protesting in front of the office. Police advised that as long as they didn’t go on the property or block the driveway they weren’t doing anything illegal.

5:53 p.m.: Police arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving after a traffic stop at Ferdinand and Isabella streets. He was booked and released and his car was towed.

7:19 p.m.: Six teenage boys brought a couch to El Pescadero Park on the 200 block of West Kavanagh Avenue and started to rip it apart, according to a caller. Police found the couch, but there was nobody ripping it apart when the officer arrived.

9:40 p.m.: A 21-year-old man went into the KFC/A&W, 2290 W. Grant Line Rd., where his ex-girlfriend works, and threw a soda at her and ran behind the counter. He left with a group of friends before police arrived.

10:07 p.m.: A person at Stone Pine Apartments, 233 W. Grant Line Road, heard about six gunshots. The caller also reported an argument and another gunshot about 10 minutes later. There were still people creating a disturbance when police arrived, but the caller didn’t want any further police involvement.

11:02 p.m.: A security guard at Kimball High School saw three teenage boys on the campus, and then saw them drive away in a red car. The guard also found fresh graffiti at the school, and gave police the license plate number of the car. Police found the youths and took a report.

That's it PuppyDogg! Keep up these traffic stops. Imagine you may be the next one hurt by drunks if we don't stop them first!

Same Tuesday just after the commute rush and here's this fool on the roads.

If he was above a .08 at almost 10:00 am, he was almost there an hour before. Maybe the same time you were leaving for work, dropping your kids off at the sitter on the way.

Keep in mind people, this 18 year old kid was arrested on a Tuesday at 5:53 pm. About the same time commuters are returning home and starting in a few weeks, the same time students will be walking home from either schools or libraries.

And just who again is against DUI check-points?

This is one of the rare cases where you wish the cops showed up late and let them finish choking each other.

Took a report? How about an arrest, TPD? Was the report taken in spray paint too?

-Keep up the traffic stops. Drunk drivers need to get the message to stop. Listen, read, or get a ticket! (or even worse)

- 20 yrs old? Wish you the best in your 'adult' life, but you have to realize you have to follow the laws first.
