Tracy Sunrise Rotary Club has named local attorney Mike Belden as club president for the 2010-11 year. Belden got his year started this month with a meeting that spells out some of the club’s goals.

Among those goals are to keep up with community service projects Tracy Sunrise Rotary started in the past year, including last month’s cleanup and maintenance of the Women’s Center of San Joaquin safe house in Tracy, where part of the club’s active core of dedicated members spent a couple of days to make the house more comfortable and child-friendly.

Belden takes the helm after being in the club only a few years. He joined in February 2007, shortly after making the transition from the banking business to practicing law. He works out of the office of Bakerink, McCusker and Belden in Tracy and specializes in estate planning, trusts, probate and bankruptcy.
