Tracy police received 186 calls for service Tuesday, June 22. The following is a sample of those calls.
12:34 a.m.: Police went to the Driftwood Apartments, 800 W. Grant Line Road, for a report about banging on the walls and a child crying. Police said it was a “rambunctious” 12-year-old.
1:30 a.m.: A fight was reported on the 700 block of Sixth Street. The combatants were gone when police arrived 10 minutes later.
8:15 a.m.: Someone reported online that a purse was lost at Budget Auto, 551 W. Grant Line Road.
9:04 a.m.: A man called from the Tracy Park Apartments, 2800 N. Tracy Blvd., and said that two women from Michigan were trying to defraud him. Police said it was a civil matter.
11:06 a.m.: Someone called and said that police should check on a woman who asked for directions to Lathrop but was wandering around in circles at Sixth and F streets. Police couldn’t find her 13 minutes later.
1:12 p.m.: A woman reported from St. Bernard’s Catholic School, 163 W. Eaton Ave., that her white Honda was stolen the night before.
2:20 p.m.: A caller reported that the stereo was stolen from his car, which was parked near the corner of E Street and Jackson Alley.
2:54 p.m.: A fight between two men, one with a rock and one with a stick, was reported at the corner of Tracy Boulevard and Mount Diablo Avenue. At least one of the combatants was arrested on two outstanding traffic warrants.
9:46 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of domestic abuse in central Tracy.
11:48 p.m.: A caller on the 300 block of Central Avenue said that a mother was threatening her child, and it sounded like they were about to get into a car.

He said that he found women’s purses tied to his car’s bumper in the morning, and found a box of pornography on his car’s windshield in the afternoon. He added that he had found women’s clothing tied to one of the car’s bumpers “a couple weeks ago.”

It was later noted that two persons matching the description were later questioned (in Lathrop) yet claimed "they" were both heading West on 205 at the time of the incidents which occurred at Sixth and F streets.
