Softball players of all ages are taking part in the Kimball High softball camp on the school’s new diamond this week.

The camp's two sessions teach players in kindergarten through ninth grade the softball basic skills, including batting, fielding and base running. The camp runs through the end of the week.

The fields were not used during the high school team’s inaugural season — this was the first action the diamond has seen.
