Tracy Fourth of July celebration


WHEN: 6 a.m. through 10 p.m.

WHERE: Lincoln Park, East Street and Eaton Avenue; and Tracy High’s Wayne Schneider Stadium, East and 11th streets.

DETAILS: The annual Day in the Park will kick off at 6 a.m. in Lincoln Park with the Breakfast Lions’ pancake breakfast and hot air balloon launch. The festivities will take a hiatus for Sunday church services before starting again at noon at Lincoln Park, with food, music, crafts and games. The annual Fourth of July parade will begin at 1 p.m. at Sixth Street and Central Avenue in downtown Tracy and finish at Lincoln Park. The party will move to the Tracy High stadium at 7:30 p.m., with fireworks wrapping up the celebration at about 9:20 p.m.

COST: Free entry at the park; stadium tickets are $3 for adults, $1 for children and seniors and are available through July 2 at the Tracy Chamber of Commerce, 223 E. 10th St.
