Whether the son will someday feel guilt depends on whether he's schizophrenic and 'voices' told him to snuff dad or if the killing was due to drug abuse. He's in custody now and whatever drug supply he may have had access to has been cut off. My bet is the police already have accumulated a ton of info re the case. It's either schizophrenia or dope or more likely a combination of the two. What boils me is if someone knew he was mentally ill and sold him drugs. That person is equally if not moreso responsible for the father's death.

Well that's interesting. I guess it is called the Greybar Hotel. It's amazing how wordages change thru time. My dad,born in 1910 always called the county jail the Gray Hotel. And sure enough it was gray. Or grey as the case may be. The expression probably began as the Greybar Hotel then changed to street slange Gray Hotel for conversational purposes. I'm sure back during the 1930s if you said you're going to the Gray Hotel everyone knew exactly what you meant.

To Tracy PD: Please investigate where the kid and his father worked. If it's hard,physical work you may find that speed/meth is used by much or most of the employee force. Could be meth,could be bennies. But it will answer your question as to motive.
