A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday for Hilda Estrada Valdez, 43, of Tracy, who died May 5 in an automobile accident in Westley.

Born Nov. 1, 1966, in Teocaltiche, Jalisco, in Mexico, Mrs. Valdez lived in Tracy 17 years. She was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Hector Valdez of Tracy; sons, Raul Valdez and Rene Valdez, both of Tracy; mother, Maria Aurora Estrada of Teocaltiche; one sister; and six brothers.

Her father, Alberto Estrada, preceded her in death.

Thursday’s Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., with burial to follow in Tracy Cemetery, 600 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave, and a rosary will begin 7 p.m.
