A woman called at 10:50 p.m. Sunday to report a guy with a gun stole her car at Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road.

She said the man pulled a gun from the pocket of his hooded sweatshirt,

Wouldn't it be nice if the state would allow it's taxpayers to carry a weapon for defense of life and property. Only criminals carry gun, it's pathetic.

5:32 p.m.: A man walked into the police station at 1000 Civic center Drive to report his wife was missing and had twice committed suicide before.

Going for the resurrection record.

Friday,

12:34 p.m.: A caller reported a customer at Envy Nails, 553 W. Clover Road, walked out without paying to get her nails done. She told police she “soaked her nails in acetone to remove fake nails,” and “claimed she did not know she had to pay.” Police said the caller “was happy with the outcome.”

After leaving the salon and given the distinct signs of what looked like "spots everywhere" came a lucky break in the case ... since literally everything the customer touched, police were able to follow a signature trail of finger-painting ...

Saturday,

9:41 a.m.: A woman on the 100 block of West Beverly Place reported she injured her husband when she threw a VCR and hit him in the head.

2:57 p.m.: A woman on the 100 block of Beverly Place reported a man just beat up her husband. She said the guy threw a VCR that hit him in the head.

Update!

Hospital administrators recently became aware of an unusual statistic within the home entertainment industry...

Men being hurt by flying VCR sets.

Sunday,

12:07 p.m.: A woman reported Jehova’s Witnesses were at her door “refusing to leave” on the 1300 block of Claremont Drive.

The woman was eventually processed out and has since been relocated to an undisclosed location under the Jehova Witness protection.

5:32 p.m.: A man walked into the police station at 1000 Civic center Drive to report his wife was missing and had twice committed suicide before.

She had committed suicide twice before ? Wow, that's something you don't read about everyday.

10:12 p.m.: A caller reported a 15-year-old girl was beaten up by an opponent in a soccer game at the Tracy Sports Complex, 955 Crossroads Drive. The caller said “players from one team were frustrated the other team kept pressure on them, not allowing them to score.” Several players fought, the caller said, while the referees “stood by watching the fight instead of gaining control of the game.”

I know that things have changed since my youth, but isn't trying to stop your opponent from scoring still part of a game ?
