The caller said the men drove up to the home in a silver Mercedes, and that the suspects “are friends with his ex-girlfriend.”
The Tracy Police Department received 128 calls for service Monday. The following is a sample of those calls.
12:47 a.m.: A woman waited around the police to show up near Cardoza Road and Tracy Boulevard after she found an injured cat. An officer took the cat to the animal shelter.
12:59 a.m.: Police arrested a 53-year-old man on suspicion of public drunkenness after a woman at the Green Oaks Mobile Home Park, 2929 MacArthur Drive, told police her mentally ill son “locked her in.”
7:14 a.m.: Police arrested a man on suspicion of public drunkenness on the 2800 block of Funston Court.
8:04 a.m.: A woman reported catching a raccoon in a trap on the 1100 block of Fruitwood Court. She was referred to the “vector control” district.
1:26 p.m.: A man reported checks were stolen out of his mailbox and one was later cashed for $500 at the Bank of America, 111 W. 10th St. The man said the suspect lives on East Seventh Street and asked for prosecution.
2 p.m.: Police arrested a 18-year-old man on a $20,000 warrant after a caller reported four or five men and women were fighting in the parking lot of the 99 Cents Only Store, 1320 W. 11th St.
2:01 p.m.: A woman on the 1500 block of Monterey Court reported “two packs of checks were missing from her box of checks.” She had no idea who took them.
2:23 p.m.: Two guys were fighting in front of a home on the 500 block of West Grant Line Road, a woman reported. She said one of the men was her daughter’s boyfriend. Police showed up but made no arrests.
2:50 p.m.: A home and car were vandalized at Joseph Damon Drive and Orchard Parkway, a caller reported.
2:53 p.m.: A caller on the 2100 block of De Bord Drive reported the “unauthorized us of credit cards.”
4:55 p.m.: A man stole a laptop computer from Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road, got into a Toyota Celica driven by a woman and took off, a caller reported.
5:45 p.m.: A woman asked to talk to an officer about her 10-year-old son finding pornography at his father’s house on the 500 block of Rockingham Court. She said she was concerned “for the safety of her three children” who were due to spend the night at their father’s house. The 10-year-old said he found the pornography, and that nothing was shown to him.
6:33 p.m.: A bicycle was stolen from a garage on the 2000 block of Iroula Way, a caller said. The three boys who took the bike were seen by a neighbor, and the caller ended up following the boys in her Toyota Camry. Police tracked them down, warned them about trespassing, and returned the bike to its owner, who declined to press charges.
7:04 p.m.: A caller reported that four teenage boys were jumping out into traffic and throwing rocks at the caller’s car. The kids went into the Tracy Garden Apartments, but police failed to find them.
10:27 a.m.: Two kids tried to steal booze from Save Mart, 2005 N. Tracy Blvd., but the store got a bottle back and detained two kids who sad they had nothing to do with the attempted theft. One was let go before an officer arrived.
