Get your green thumbs ready and head down to M&M Builders Supply’s 65th annual Garden Festival a week from today.

There will be demonstrations on fruit-tree pruning and how to fertilize plants, as well as discussions on how to get soil rich, control disease and pests and set up watering systems.

Vegetable snacks and popcorn will be provided, as well as coloring activities for the kids.

In the past, about 300 people have attended the festival, and organizers expect another great turnout.

The demonstrations and discussions will be given by Brian Bassett, who has 17 years of experience in the nursery; Breege Mondragon, who is a lifetime avid gardener; and Tracy Amador, Laurie Costello and Shaun Kelly.

M&M Builders Supply has been in the gardening business for 64 years.
