OK, let me get this straight, the federal government is bailing out car companies so that they can build more cars people can’t afford to buy, sending trillions of our tax dollars to financial institutions in order to prevent the top executives from losing their bonuses for doing nothing, and bailing out banks who have all the money anyway while they continue to cry poor. Did I miss something?
What good does this bailout do for the 10 percent-plus of the population who is unemployed and just existing on unemployment, not to mention those whose benefits have run out? It absolutely astounds me that we are told by our illustrious President Obama that unemployment is getting better and that income is rising while hoping they can bypass the specifics of our Constitution and shove this horrendous health bill down our throats. What planet is he on, anyway?
This government doesn’t know what it is doing anymore!
Look what’s happening to our schools. Every politician has preached how important our schools are to the future of our country. They campaign on that rhetoric of total support for funding our schools, and what’s the first thing they do? They make massive cuts in education budgets. Where do they think that will take us? Why not use some of those trillions for our schools?
We don’t produce anything anymore — we’ve given it all away to foreign companies. Over the years, we have laid off millions of our own workers. Just look around you at business closings, bankruptcies and foreclosures, and illegal immigrants who have overrun our country. Greed is alive and well, and no one has the power to stop it. Now foreign countries are buying our debt, and soon you’ll be taxed more to pay them back, with interest, with money you don’t have.
The inept political process in this country has all but killed our economy. Our future is now in the hands of a clown car government.
This country was built on entrepreneurial spirit, mobility and self-determination, not government interference and regulation. So what happened? We have an embarrassing president who hasn’t accomplished anything since he’s been in office and has the gall to travel around the world apologizing for our existence and placating our enemies while he’s presented with a Nobel Peace Prize for doing what?
Folks, we are being led down the path to economic slaughter. The government is being set up to dictate your every move. If you voted for this socialistic regime, you are about to get what you voted for. The only way we can stop this personal encroachment on our freedoms is to stand up, get involved, vote and be counted. Don’t complain when it’s too late.

The mortgage crisis was caused when the former democrat president deregulated that industry. San Joaquin is the worst in the country because of Stockton. And Merced.
We all know Merced is underwater because the city built UCMerced and no students showed up for class. Even after 911 the federal government cut the immigration of foreign students. This country is in a pickle and all they do is spend like there is no tomorrow. We just screwed up healthcare because the Dems knew it would take three more years to produce good healthcare. Instead they rammed through bad healthcare when they should have focused on the economy first. Now the states are sueing the federal government because the states cannot afford this bad healthcare.
