EDITOR,

Congratulations: For the first time in our nation’s history, Congress has passed comprehensive health care reform.

I want to congratulate each and every of the 219 Democrats who voted for the bill, for their hard work resulted such a good accomplishment. Now, peace of mind will be enjoyed by each and every American.

Will the good doctor get more money now, government paid health care?

I would be thankful for those giving me a raise as well.

Fact is many cannot afford to pay. Reports have already been issued by major employeers documenting the $100 mil plus they are going to have to pay. This means costs passed to the consumer and layoffs.

Thus, more unemployed healthcare benefits for the few left standing to pay.

Medicare- $60,000,000,000 (billion) in fraud a year estimated to be as much as $120,000,000,000 (billion)

I shall await ObamaCare with baited breath.

The good doctor might talk about how much he will be reducing his fees and those of his co-workers. Donate his schooling as it were because we are all in this together.

Doesn't 219 seem a little bit low to some people? This is one of the biggest changes our country has ever seen and it gets passed by 3 votes? And that was only after Obama and his cronies bribed and bullied their own Democratic buddies into voting for it!

I personally will be expressing my feelings at election time. Gerald McNerney voted for this horrible Bill so I am encouraging everyone to show up at the polls and vote him out of office. We need enough new members ready to repeal this awful legislation in seats as soon as possible. Representatives are supposed to enact the will of their constituents and every poll shows the majority of Americans did not want this Bill. Time to be a part of the one poll that counts and vote everyone who helped this travesty pass out of office.

Dr., you wrote: “Now, peace of mind will be enjoyed by each and every American.”

I am an American senior citizen who does not have peace of mind. The forthcoming cuts to Medicare is frightening. I have paid into the fund ever since it started and continue to pay and they want to cut instead of cleaning up their mismanagement and corruption.

Anytime benevolence is passed through a third party as it is in Socialism the gift is diminished by expenses. In addition, as it becomes corrupt it adds another level of increase in cost. Just look at the current state of Medicare. If their objective was to help all Americans why did they not chose to clean up the mismanagement and corruption? Could it be because they are part of it?

No, not all Americans have peace of mind. Some of us are very concerned about the coming rationing of services. Oh, you don’t think that will happen? Then why does Medicare have the highest denial rate of procedures or services, 6.8%?

Management of MRI Wait Lists in Canada

Abstract:

Excessive wait times for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies are a major problem in the Canadian healthcare system. To determine how requests for MRI studies are managed, the authors performed a survey of public MRI facilities in Canada. Ninety-six per cent had some method to triage MRI requests. However, only 42% had documented guidelines for prioritization, and none employed quality assurance methods to ensure that guidelines were followed...

"Now, peace of mind will be enjoyed by each and every American." no matter what.

Let me finish that for Doctor Socialist...

...Even those angered by its passage will come to enjoy (be required) the people's loving benefits bestowed by the 219.

All hail the glorious 219

One more socialist determined to make life better for all.
