Friday,

"5:48 p.m.: Someone called police on a “happy” group of kids hanging out at Sister Cities Park, 842 Saddleback Court, waiting for the Powder Puff game to begin at West High School. Police found no problems."

Ah yes, the infamous "happy group gang."

Hanging around High Schools, and intimidating Powder Puff players..?

Saturday,

"8:16 a.m.: Someone at Williams Middle School, 1600 Tennis Lane, called police to complain that the T-ball opening ceremony celebration was “way too loud.”"

Seriously?

Another blighted condition surrounding Tracy's urban youth problems.

Sunday,

"1:08 p.m.: A woman at the Chesapeake Bay Apartments, 2941 W. Lowell Ave., reported her former friend walked by, yelled at her, called her names and threw a rock at her front door. The former friend later called and the woman threatened her with mace and pepper spray, she told police. An officer left a card at the woman’s door when no one answered and suggested she call back."

[This has got to be a misprint from Saturday's police log?]

"7:30 p.m.: A woman at the Chesapeake Bay Apartments, 2941 W. Lowell Ave., told police her former friend threw a rock at her door and called her names. The woman later called back to say that her neighbor hit her in the head with a bag after she tried to spray her neighbor with pepper spray. Police took no report."

Neighbors suggested the manager "not worry" - this was an on-going friendly argument and all efforts to pick up loose bags, rocks, and stop illegal vendors from selling pepper spray would be brought up at the next community meeting.

Maybe the woman should work out an agreement with the finance company to have her voluntarily turn the car over without any negative credit report since she can't afford to make the payments on it. I'll bet that Mercedes never leaves the garage again.
