Josie Kachmarek celebrated her 100th birthday with a party at the Lolly Hansen Senior Center this afternoon.

Kachmarek was treated to a party filled with balloons, magic tricks from Sparkles the Clown, a birthday cake and songs from friends at the senior center. About 40 people attended the party which was followed by bingo for the seniors.

Happy Birthday :o)

William Howard Taft was President when you were born, the Wright Brothers flew off from Kitty Hawk just eight years before. You sure have seen a lot of history.

Never take our seniors for granted, we can learn so much from them.
