Teens prepare for Junior Miss

Ten high school juniors will be contestants in the 39th annual Tracy Junior Miss Program at the Grand Theatre on April 8.

Rishika Chauhan, Caitlin Dong, Bridget Emery, Alyssa Gottberg, Gabriella Herrera, Kopal Jhalani, Isabelle Pe Benito, Bianca Sanchez, Angelica Son and Elizabeth Villagomez will be judged in five categories, including an interview, fitness routine, and a 90-second talent showcase, such as singing or dancing.

The winner of the pageant receives $1,000 and a chance to compete at the state competition in Bakersfield at the end of the summer.

Only juniors in high school who either live in or go to school in Tracy are eligible for the competition.

Tickets for the pageant are available at Richards Men’s Store Monday through Saturday, or Sundays at the Elks Lodge, 6400 W. 11th St. Seats are also available from the Grand Theatre box office or online at www.atthegrand.org.

The pageant is sponsored by the Tracy Kiwanis Club.
