Poet Christian School will have its annual dance performance at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts on Thursday and Friday evening. The performances, titled “Dancing to a Stand Still,” begin each night at 7:30 p.m.

The show is directed and choreographed by Poet Christian dance teacher Beth Andrade and features a number of interpretive dances. The students have been preparing for several weeks for the show, with two dress rehearsals on the Grand Theatre’s main stage.

This may be the company’s last dance performance, as budget cuts may close the curtain on the fine arts magnet classes at the school.
