And we wonder why the kids in the town are so screwed up. Adam Henry father.
First off, none of us really know the full details of this situation.
To start off, there probably wasn't a 20-30 people rumble. It was more likely a couple of kids with the majority being looky lous wanting to watch a fight.
Second, to the ones who are quick to judge the father: Have you ever had a son or daughter who was bullied in school? have you ever been to the school to talk to officials about it, and nothing been resolved? I have. its very frustrating, and heartbreaking knowing what your son or daughter has to go through every single day walking home from school while school officials or law enforcement really are unable to do anything about it.
Third, have you ever been bullied in your life. Do you know the struggles a young child goes through being bullied by their peers?
Sometimes the best way to stop a bully is by facing him/her or them. As a father, i would do anything to keep my children from harm, but i also tell my children that they need to stand up for themselves and not let anyone bully them. Even if that means having to defend themselves in a fight.
Im just trying to give a different perspective to the story? Im not saying my ways the best, i know by far it isnt. Sometimes parents dont know what else to do in a situation like this. If there are any alternative measures you would take, please share, because this is a very serious topic. There is more than one way to skin a cat, so the saying goes!
