Poor Mom, must be horrifying to see your child shot!
So much shootings in Tracy, lately, sad!
CN
Why did she have to "pull the race card"????
I too agree with doors17!
sexymomma: what is with the "white" comments? It sounds like you are trying to make this a racial thing. Oakland may have a gang task force of 8, but they have a huge problem that they may never overcome. Tracy is trying to prevent the problem from getting worse, therefore increasing the task force and making a known presence may just send these gang memebers back where they came from where there are only 8 members on their gang task force. This has nothing to do with helping the poor and race, this is about "choosing" your path of life. Rich or poor, black or white, we are all trying to make our town better for our future generations. I grew up very poor but I was very rich with family values and morals and knew what was right and wrong and I made the choices in my life to surround my self with positive people. I didn't use the excuses to turn the wrong direction.
Sexymomma, your too much. Not worth the argument.
I agree with doors17.
Words cannot describe the pain felt when this happens to a loved one. God willing our boy will recover from this and live a normal life.
I believe that Tracy PD is working hard on this case and want to get these criminals off our streets. If anyone out there has any information about the shooting or know who is responsible please, please call Tracy PD. It is up to us to report these people to the authorities and prevent future crimes. Don't allow this to happen to one one your kids or loved ones.
Again, thank you your support and prayers.
Sincerely,
A family member of the victim
I am not going to comment anymore on the Freiler incident. I was trying to let people know that that staff was taking all precautions and it was dealt with correctly. I dont know what you mean by your fisrt paragraph? I am not a cop so I dont know how long they were investigating? But when they confirmed the info there was an arrest. Do you honestly think you will get the exact info of an investigation especially one that includes a minor?
Have you read the paper lately? There are shootings and stabbings at parties quite often it seems. So I am still confused about the high school location? The writer I responded to said last he checked there were no high schools close by? Well West High is and what does that have to do with someone having a party anyway?
Guns come from Dads closet generally. I am just sayin and drugs well you can get those on any corner in this town or maybe Dads closet too?
But if you all want to keep trying to investigate the links more power to you. I am not gonna argue it any longer that was not my intention in the first place. I just dont appreciate the school getting blamed for idiot parenting and again for a high school party gone bad thats all.
I don't think thatsa nice way to crash a party...
"but that doesnt matter it was at a party? You know a party? Teens have them, people drink, other teens try to crash them?"
West High is more than just a couple blocks away.
How would they be able to get drugs/guns if they do NOT have gang ties. Are you sure you really know what's going on at Freiler/Frieler or whatever it is?
Why does the police blotter say the following?
They were arrested as part of a "“continuing investigation” at Freiler School"?
That's the part that doesn't make sense.
Thanks for the correction to the Tracy Press's blotter!
Hope they are reading your comments and will update their website!
The time and proximity to the school? Not sure if you read the paper but we seem to have a shooting every weekend.
I do realize West High is down the road so it is in the proximity, but that doesnt matter it was at a party? You know a party? Teens have them, people drink, other teens try to crash them? There have been several incidences of that lately. A few weeks back there was a stabbing at a party that was crashed as well.
Ummm like I said the TP has the write up on the police blotter wrong. The incident happened Friday.Never before. They were arrested and they are not back at school? Doesnt seem like a slap on the wrist as of now? Read again what I wrote.
Also I know the invloved students and neither has gang ties or older siblings so a retalitation is completely ridiculous and who would they retaliate against? Someone throwing a party a couple blocks away?
I'm for helping the poor, you'll find me very liberal on my political thinking. However the way you think does nothing to solve any problems, just helps feed the hate that you are displaying here.
Let's just look at what it says in the newspaper. You do realize the proximity in time and location to Freiler School?
Also do you realize there are no other high schools near the area?
Ok, maybe it is a coincidence (as you said) and unrelated. But if I were the TPD I would be less inclined to buy that.
You didn't say they aprehended the suspect did you? If not how do you know it was unrelated?
Also, why were they allowed back to school after being arrested for drug charges? The paper says they were arrested at school.
That's just what it says. I don't know what you call it, but it seems like a slap on the wrist to me.
You must not know anybody that has been a shooting victim or an innocent victim of any violent crime. It is scary and yes, it IS that bad. Let's see you come back and post the same thing when it happens to you or one of your loved ones.
If not do your mean the Tracy Police are harassing innocent people ? They must have done something to you or someone you know. If I'm truly a innocent person I would have no problem with being questioned on anything if it would help the police.
I know many are hurting out there, but cutting the budget needed for law enforcement that we all benefit from is very wrong thinking. Imagine needing the police and being put on hold or told, sorry but because of budget cuts we have no officers available to help you, so your on your own.
