A woman on the 1800 block of Isabel Virginia Drive was screaming into the phone when she called at 12:22 a.m. Sunday to report her 16-year child was shot in the upper chest and chin.

An off-duty paramedic showed up as did an ambulance, and police were told the victim was alert and talking.

The suspects took off in a black car, and police later pulled over a black Lexus with five guys inside. A kid was arrested and released to the custody of parents.

The gunshot victim was taken to the hospital.

The Tracy Police Department received 454 calls for service between Friday and Sunday. The following is a sample of those calls.

Sunday (132 calls):

12:59 a.m.: A caller who was drunk on the first block of West First Street reported his brother-in-law “bit his finger.”

1:15 a.m.: A caller reported a guy climbed into a gold car that was “up on blocks” at Costa Automotive, 480 E. 11th St., and then tried to get inside the building. The caller reported that “security” sleeps in a trailer in back of the property, but police detained four people and arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of car burglar. He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.

1:30 a.m.: Police arrested a kid from a Stockton group home on suspicion of petty theft at FoodMaxx, 3225 N. Tracy Boulevard. The suspect was taken to the Mary Graham Children’s Shelter in French Camp.

2:08 a.m.: A caller reported eight tires were stolen from the 1100 block of Linne Road. The suspect or suspects drove a white 1964 Chevy pickup, police were told.

11:01 a.m.: A girl reported her “mom just hit her” on the 100 block of Edward Court. Police said there were no signs of abuse, and gave the girl “county resources.”

12:14 p.m.: Graffiti was reported at Henley Parkway and Lowell Avenue.

12:37 p.m.: Graffiti was reported at Perko’s Café, 1321 W. 11th St.

12:55 p.m.: A woman who was out of town told police her son told her that their home had been broken into on the 600 block of Regina Drive.

1:12 p.m.: The number “14” was spray painted on a wooden fence on the 1200 block of West 12th Street.

1:29 p.m.: A caller reported “illegal immigrants” were in the parking lot of FoodMaxx, 3225 N. Tracy Blvd., trying to sell stuffed animals.

1:40 p.m.: A woman on the 700 block of Darby Court said her husband has been making false police reports about her to get her in trouble. Police questioned one man.

2:42 p.m.: A caller reported graffiti on the 100 block of Willow Creek Drive.

3:04 p.m.: A caller reported that seven people were in Bill Schwartz Park, 1800 Peony Drive, spray painting graffiti. Two girls and several boys wrote on a trash can, the caller said, but they took off about 30 minutes later.

3:42 a.m.: A woman who had her cell phone stolen at the Great Plate, 714 Central Ave., said she paid the person who stole $200 to give it back to her. She got the thief’s license plate number and gave it to police.

4:14 p.m.: Police questioned a suspected gang member at Central Avenue and Ferdinand Street.

5:23 p.m.: An ambulance took a woman on the 1900 block of Halfa Court to the hospital after a caller reported she was not breathing, but later said she was “panting.”

6:45 p.m.: A guy busted a car window at Beverly Place and Parker Avenue and took off on a bicycle, the car’s owner told police.

7:27 p.m.: Police questioned three people at 23rd Street and Parker Avenue with suspected gang ties.

9:27 a.m.: Police arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of car burglary at Lowell Avenue and Tracy Boulevard.

9:57 p.m.: Graffiti was reported at Top Shelf Wine, 2242 W. Grant Line Road.

10:19 p.m.: Police arrested a 26-year-old man with suspected gang ties after the stopped him while he was walking near the Holly Mobile Home Estates, 2888 Holly Drive.

10:52 p.m.: Police arrested a 47-year-old woman on suspicion of drunken driving after she was seen “stumbling” out of a car at the 7-Eleven, 2360 W. Grant Line Road.

Saturday (163 calls):

3:37 a.m.: Six kids were kicked out after trespassing in a room at the Motel 6, 3810 N. Tracy Blvd., a caller said.

9:57 a.m.: A caller on the 2600 block of Southbrook Court reported getting a phone call at 3:17 a.m. from a guy making rude sexual comments. The caller said the guy might be a co-worker, and will contact police again if the harassment continues.

12:19 p.m.: A woman reported her husband with in an argument with her best friend on the 2800 block of Casey Court. She said her husband was “smashing items in the house.”

12:25 p.m.:  A caller said two pit bulls were “out of control” on the 700 block of Alden Glen Drive, and that the neighbors “refuse to control their dogs.” The caller later said the neighbor was helping to “secure” a fence, and planned to “surrender” the dogs to the animal shelter in two weeks.

1:33 p.m.: A man said his alcoholic wife was drunk and threatening suicide on the 4500 block of Lindsey Lane. He said she had never talked about suicide before, and that she was depressed and crying. She later calmed down.

2:13 p.m.: A caller asked for extra patrols after a neighbor with a history of violence stood outside a home on the 1600 block of Kavanagh Avenue and yelled at his girlfriend.

3:22 p.m.: Police arrested, cited and released a woman on suspicion of shoplifting at Sears, 3350 Naglee Road.

3:33 p.m.: A caller reported a purse was stolen from a cart in the parking lot of Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road. The caller said the suspects were a man and woman with two small kids in a gold Honda or Toyota.

3:41 p.m.: A woman on the 100 block of East Grant Line Road reported her boyfriend pulled her hair and kicked her in the ribs, but when an officer showed up, she recanted her story.

3:43 p.m.: A caller reported an air conditioner was stolen from a home on the 1800 block of Thelma loop.

4:01 p.m.: A caller reported a house guest might have stolen several hundreds dollars from a home on the 2900 block of Young Court.

4:02 p.m.: A kid who was beaten up at the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road, was released to the family of a friend, and was told to call an officer if prosecution was wanted.

5:02 p.m.: A black car was “keyed” at Rite Aid, 599 Valpico Road.

5:25 p.m.: A woman reported her son and his girlfriend damaged a $100 canopy that was in her garage on the 2200 block of Lincoln Boulevard, then returned it to Walmart. Police said the 21-year-old guy has gang ties.

6:20 p.m.: A man reported his son’s girlfriend and her sister tossed all of the son’s things outside of a home on the 1600 block of Kavanagh Avenue. He told police he was furious and that officers had better arrive soon to “take statements before he starts murdering people.”

6:30 p.m.: A caller in the Hidden Lake Clubhouse on th3 1300 block of Eastlake Circle reported receiving text messages from someone, including one that read, “Watch what happens to you now.”

7:01 p.m.: The mother of a kid beaten up earlier at the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road, told police she wanted to press charges against the suspect.

7:38 p.m.: A caller who left a house on the 600 block of Marie Angela Drive reported receiving a threatening phone call from a guy who said he would the kill the caller, “his and his wife” if he “didn’t stop coming over.” The caller told police he was headed back to his house in Elk Grove.

8:26 p.m.: A man reported the “padlocks had been changed” on his vacant home on the 1400 block of Coolidge Avenue, and told police to keep an eye out for trespassers trying to move into the home.

10:45 p.m.: A man upset after an argument with his 30-year-old son and 41-year-old daughter told police he wanted “to take himself out.” He said he had a shotgun in his home on the 100 block of E Street, and told police “everything is upside down right now and can’t be fixed.” He was crying, buy he walked outside after he “threw the gun away” and talked to officers.

10:48 p.m.: A caller reported “30 or 40” people were involved in a fight outside the Great Plate, 714 Central Ave., where someone in a white SUV was trying to run over people. Others threw chairs in the street, the caller said, and one guy got hit in the head with a bottle.

 Friday (159 calls):

1:09 a.m.: A Honda Pilot was driven into the mud at West High School, 1775 W. Lowell Ave., and a guy and girl took off running but were arrested by police on suspicion of driving a car that belonged to someone else. The car was towed.

1:37 a.m.: One caller reported hearing seven gunshots at East and 21st streets, and several others reported gunfire in the area, possibly coming from someone in a gold or tan SUV. Police found no one suspicious.

1:41 a.m.: A caller reported a 24-year-old son was at the Best Western Motel, 811 W. Clover Road, and is “on shrooms” and drunk. The man was taken to the hospital and arrested.

8:34 a.m.: A “model home” was broken into and a washer and dryer were stolen on the 2200 block of Cedrus Drive, a caller reported.

8:38 a.m.: A man's car was broken into during the night on the 2100 block of Shenandoah Street, the car owner reported.

8:53 a.m.: Police arrested two kids during a “continuing investigation” at Freiler School, 751 W. Lowell Ave., and booked them into San Joaquin County Juvenile Hall in French Camp. Two boys were arrested last week on suspicion of drug dealing at the school.

9:13 a.m.: A woman reported her estranged husband was following her so she pulled into the Denny's to hide because she was “afraid he's going to hurt her.” She said he's been following her lately, and she was out walking when she saw him, so she got in her car and drove off. She said he was taking pictures of her talking on her phone, and ended up calling her “telling her that he is watching.” She said they're separated and he wants to see the children, but she doesn't want to talk to him. Police told them both to “go to court.”

9:19 a.m.: A caller reported two guys “just punched out his tires with a knife or screwdriver” on the 2700 block of Colony Drive. He said they're upset over money he owes them.

11 a.m.: A caller reported a 3-year-old girl was wandering outside a home at Highland Avenue and Walnut Street, and when she was asked where her parents were, she said, “no one was home,” and she then went inside a house where drug activity is known to take place. A neighbor lost track of the child, police were told, and an officer checked the mother's house which had “adequate food and accommodations,” though the mother was on probation for drug violations.

11:02 a.m.: Two guys fought at Centre Court Drive and Tracy Boulevard, a caller said, and an office noted “major blood” was coming from one man's head.

11:40 a.m.: Police went to West High School, 1775 W. Lowell Ave., on a report of a fight.

1:10 p.m.: A man said he returned from the store to find “two dead calves bound together” were in his front yard on the 4700 block of Lammers Road, and he had no proper equipment to pick them up.

2:06 p.m.: A man was writing graffiti near the garbage bin at In-Shape Health Club, 101 N. Tracy Blvd. 2:35 p.m.: Parts were stolen from an air conditioner on the 4300 block of Cherry Blossom Lane, a caller reported.

3:07 p.m.: Three guys and a woman were in a fight at Grant Line Road and Lincoln Boulevard, a caller said, and one man's head was bleeding.

3:30 p.m.: A man reported the driver of a car hit him and a passenger spit on him at 11th Street and Holly Drive. He declined to stop for a report because he was on his way to work.

3:34 p.m.: Police questioned three people with suspected gang ties at the Bonfare Market, 15 E. Grant Line Road.

3:51 p.m.: Two sets of parents and their kids fought at Kimball High School, 3200 Jaguar Run, and were detained in the office of the main building, a caller said. One parent said a daughter had “been slapped on the rear end” by a boy in school earlier in the day. When she pointed out the boy while her father picked her up from school, he confronted the kid “and told him to stay away from his daughter.”

4:25 p.m.: Police questioned someone at MacDonald Park, 55 N. Central Ave., with suspected gang ties.

6:29 p.m.: Police arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol after two cars collided at 11th Street and MacArthur Drive.

7:21 p.m.: A woman said a man in a “road rage” fit got out of his car, yelled at her, kicked her car and broke her mirror at Lauriana Lane and Schulte Road. He blocked her in at Mountain Mike's Pizza, then followed her on Schulte Road. Police caught up with him and arrested him on vandalism charges.

8:52 p.m.: A caller reported “drug activity” in a place at the Jewel Apartments, 333 W. Ninth St. Police said no one was smoking pot when they arrived, but issued a warning.

9:11 p.m.: A woman reported hearing someone try to pry a window open in her home on the 600 block of Tennis Lane. She told she has guns but she was unarmed, and she said she heard a car door close. Police showed up and found no prowler.
