Services will be Sunday for Tracy native René (Aguiar) Alexander, 58, of Los Banos, who died Jan. 24 at her home.

Mrs. Alexander was born Nov. 25, 1951, in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in 1969.

She moved to Los Banos in 1981, where she worked as a bartender and was well-known in the community. She devoted the last five years of her life to her grandchildren.

Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband, Eric Alexander of Los Banos, whom she married in 2005 after a 10-year courtship; two daughters, Jennifer Stewart, and her wife, Marina, of Los Banos and Hillary Stewart of Tracy; mother, Mary Aguiar of Tracy; sisters, Jeanie Gordon and Sheri Baker, both of Tracy; brothers, Jack Aguiar of Tracy and Joe Aguiar of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Aguiar.

Sunday’s services will begin with the recitation of a rosary at 4 p.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, 16524 Center Ave., in Los Banos, with a memorial to follow.
