The guy was the caller’s daughter’s ex-boyfriend, and he was “under the influence of drugs,” the caller said. Police arrested 25-year-old man on suspicion of public drunkenness.
The Tracy Police Department received 153 calls for service on Thursday. The following is a sample of those calls.
1:44 a.m.: “Police were told a caller’s brother’s girlfriend who lives in Modesto vandalized two cars on the 2400 block of Ogden Sannazor Court.
4:53 a.m.: A caller reported a possibly drunken driver in a Toyota Tercel “weaving all over the road” at 11th Street and Banta Road. It turned out to be a newspaper delivery driver, police said.
7:52 a.m.: A GMC Yukon was stolen in the night from the 800 block of Summer Lane, a caller reported.
8:07 a.m.: Police were told that a car was vandalized on the 2300 block of Robert Gabriel Court.
8:08 a.m.: A car was burglarized on the 700 block of Heritage Place, police were told.
8:09 a.m.: Someone told police via the Internet that a car was burglarized on the 800 block of Bogetti Lane.
8:10 a.m.: A car was burglarized on the 800 block of Ben Ingram Lane, police were told.
8:11 a.m.: A resident informed police that a house was vandalized on the 4700 block of Windchime Way.
8:13 a.m.: Police were told a car was burglarized on the 1100 block Providence Court.
9:33 a.m.: A caller reported a boy walked into the bathroom at Ceciliani Park, 1600 Cypress Drive, carrying spray paint cans in a clear bag. Police stopped the boy near the tennis courts, and found no pain cans, nor was there graffiti inside the bathrooms. Police were unable to find the boy’s parents, and he was taken to the Mary Graham Children’s Shelter in French Camp.
9:38 a.m.: A maroon van with busted windows was parked on the 2100 block of Robert Gabriel Drive, a caller said. Police said it was vandalism.
9:56 a.m.: Pit bulls were loose and chasing residents on the 2900 block of Young Court, a caller reported. The dogs were put back in their yard.
10:08 a.m.: A caller from Famous Dave’s, 3170 Naglee Road, reported receiving counterfeit traveler’s checks.
10:36 a.m.: A woman on the 100 block of West 23rd Street asked police where she could get help for her 16-year-old cousin, who told her he stole property.
12:15 p.m.: Police went to West High School, 1775 W. Lowell Ave., on a report of possible stolen iPod.
12:36 a.m.: A woman said she went to the 1600 block of Toulouse Court to drop her kids’ bags when her ex-husband came out of a house and threw a suitcase at her car that put a large dent on a door.
1:52 p.m.: Two women were fighting on the first block of East Sixth Street, a caller said. The fight was over stolen property, and police showed up and warned them.
2:18 p.m.: Graffiti was reported on garbage cans on the 1200 block of West 12th Street.
3:24 p.m.: A guy at the Arnold Apartments, 1510 W. 12th St., reported gangmembers were trying to start a fight with his brother. One guy pushed his brother and yelled at his mom, the caller said, and police showed up but made no arrests.
3:28 p.m.: A woman who’s nine months pregnant complained of “stomach pain” after a car crash that involved an Acura and a Toyota at Corral Hollow Road and Tennis Lane.
3:55 p.m.: Police arrested a 33-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting at Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road.
5:05 p.m.: A caller said a gang member had a gun at Grant Line Road and Holly Drive. Police tracked down a 39-year-old man and arrested him on suspicion of carrying a knife, a misdemeanor.
6:05 p.m.: Jewelry, checks and cash were stolen from a home on the 1600 block of Waverly Court, a caller reported.
6:52 p.m.: “Medics” showed up to treat a man who was having a heart attack at the Main Street Jazz Café, 809 N. Central Ave.
7:44 p.m.: A caller 2300 block of Mirada Court reported her dad “hit her on her side with a belt,” causing red marks. Police showed up but made no arrests.
8:27 p.m.: A caller reported a stop sign was laying in the middle of the intersection at 11th Street and Alden Glen Drive.
10:05 p.m.: An 18-year-old woman on the 2300 block of Roosevelt Street who said she’s “mentally handicapped” said her parents are abusing her and she wanted to be taken to another home. Police talked to the woman, who showed no signs of trauma, an officer said. She told the officer she’s not taking her “meds,” and her parents are not letting her go to school. She said she’s in no danger, but that she’s not getting along with her parents. Police suggested she call her former “case worker.”
10:19 p.m.: Police arrested a suspected 21-year-old gang member at the Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park, 812 W. Clover Road, on an outstanding warrant from San Jose.
