Police saw people in the house but they refused to answer the door.

12:27 a.m.: A caller told police he was assaulted by a gang member at the west Valley Bowl, 2365 East St. The caller gave the suspect’s name to police.
1:15 a.m.: A guy at the Motel 6, 3810 N. Tracy Blvd., reported he heard glass break, looked out and saw someone kicking out a window to a room that faced the swimming pool. A 19-month-old child was locked in a room, and the mother and father agreed to pay for the damage.
1:37 a.m.: A woman reported her boyfriend just hit her and “she sprayed soap in his eyes” at Trail 50, 650 E. 11th St. She said they had both been drinking and she ended up with bruises, but that her boyfriend was going to a neighbor’s home.
6:32 a.m.: Police issued a warning to after a man who owns a home on the 800 block of West Seventh Street told police construction workers said a trespasser was living in the back of the house.
7:26 a.m.: Police received an online report of petty theft on 4300 block of Middlefield Drive.
7:27 a.m.: A car burglary was reported via the Internet on the 1100 block of Ballard Court.
7:28 a.m.: Police got an online report of a car burglary at Best Buy, 2550 Naglee Road.
7:29 a.m.: An online report came into the police about a car burglary on the 800 block of Almond Blossom Drive.
7:31 a.m.: A theft was reported via the Internet on the 4200 block of Famoso Lane.
8:20 a.m.: A woman reported her 4-year-old son was slapped by a daycare provider on the 900 block of Shelborne Drive. The mother took the boy out of the daycare center, even she told police she was unsure if he was telling the truth.
9:28 a.m.: A caller reported finding a motorcycle “stashed in some bushes” on the 100 block of Beverly Place, and asked to talk to an officer.
9:53 a.m.: A man reported he went to check on his ill, diabetic mother on the 2700 block of Holly Drive because “she wasn’t answering.” The 69-year-old woman died, and the San Joaquin County Coroner’s office was called.
10:11 a.m.: A woman told police her husband moved out but took her Social Security card, her birth certificate, other personal belongings and her van. She said she’d give him until 6 p.m. to return the stuff.
10:15 a.m.: Police arrested an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man after a caller reported five or six people were sitting in a blue Dodge Neon, possibly smoking drugs.
11:21 a.m.: A caller reported employees found fireworks, a DVD player, doorknobs in the backyard of Head Start, 2105 N. Tracy Blvd. The caller thought the stuff might have been stolen.
12:55 p.m.: Police questioned three men at Eaton Avenue and Holly Drive who might be connected to gangs.
1:41 p.m.: A woman reported two “clients” were fighting at the New Hope Care Center, 2586 Buthmann Ave.
2:37 p.m.: A house was ransacked and a lot of things were missing on the 3200 block of Ernest Drive, a caller said.
4:22 p.m.: Police arrested a man on suspicion of violating a restraining order on the 1000 block of Renown Drive.
4:34 p.m.: A caller reported a young man nearly hit a kid driving a Mercedes about 60 mph on Schulte Road near Barcelona Drive.
4:57 p.m.: A woman reported a kid threw something at her car near Jackson Avenue and Presidio Place.
6:04 p.m.: A caller at Chevron, 3400 N. MacArthur Drive, said a guy missing a couple of front teeth asked for directions to Motel 6, then tried to sell the caller a laptop computer. Police failed to find him.
6:23 p.m.: A car was broken into at the Tracy Park Apartments, 2800 N. Tracy Blvd.
6:33 p.m.: A suspected shoplifter was arrested at FoodMaxx, 3225 N. Tracy Blvd.
7:55 p.m.: A caller at In Shape Health Club, 101 N. Tracy Blvd., reported seeing a guy who stole a bag from an unlocked locker walk out of the place.
8:53 p.m.: A caller said a guy sitting on the back porch of a home on the 1200 block of Adams Street was crying, saying “he’s going to blow his brains out.” He asked police to help get him into a rehabilitation center for drugs addicts.
9:15 p.m.: Police questioned a guy at Beverly Place and Holly Drive suspected of being connected to a gang.
10:24 p.m.: A caller reported her 40-year-old husband took pills and was hallucinating on the 1900 block of Bankston Drive.
10:24 p.m.: A caller reported a 19-year-old brother wanted to stay at the caller’s place on the 1300 block of Holly Drive after being “locked up in a mental health hospital.” The brother had a history of violence, and police said he might have gang ties.
11:32 p.m.: Police arrested an employee on suspicion of a drug violation after a caller reported car had backed up to the rear doors of the KFC-A&W, 2290 W. Grant Line Road.

So why was the kid driving the Mercedes? Did he steal it from the young man?
Perhaps the employee will break under questioning and finally divulge which brand of pharmacueticals are really in that closely guarded recipe at KFC?
