A woman walked into the Bank of Stockton, 1175 N. Tracy Blvd., convinced that she had won a Publisher’s Clearinghouse sweepstakes and is set to start collecting $500,000 a year, a caller from the bank told police at 9:46 a.m.
The woman was told to provide identification, various personal documents and “up front money” before she can get her winnings when a clearinghouse representative shows up at her door.
