• Grant William Carter was born Nov. 30, 2009, to Tracy residents Alayna and Blake Carter at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces. Grant’s grandparents are William and Dolores Costa of Tracy, Lonnie and Mary Hamby of Northport, Ala., and James Carter of Madisonville, La. His great-grandparents are Dolly Silveira of Tracy and Geraldine Carter of Madisonville.
