The Kimball High music program hit a high note with its first two performances Thursday at the school’s cafeteria.

About 100 students that make up the choir, concert band, jazz band and string ensemble performed two shows, one for students in the morning then a concert open to family and the community.

The music showcased some holiday classics but also spanned a wide range of styles. Music teacher Cecile Hendersen directed the musical performances.
