Three West High volleyball players made the Tri-City Athletic League all-league list for 2009 after West finished the TCAL season at 6-5, third place in the league.

Senior Anise Abraham, the Wolf Pack’s consistent scoring leader, was named to the first team, and teammate Tiana Franks was named to the second team. Ashleigh Paul received an honorable mention.

Most valuable player for the league was Nicole Buzo of Tokay, and St. Mary’s, the league champion, had three first-team selections and three second-team picks. The Rams made it as far as the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III championship game, where they lost to section champion El Camino of Sacramento.
