Saturday was the second weekend of the Scouting for Food donation drive, and Scouts fanned out across Tracy looking for food donations for the holidays.

The foodstuffs were collected and brought to Tracy Interfaith Ministries, where it was sorted and readied for distribution.

A week ago, the Scouts brought in almost 2,000 pounds of donations, and a high amount was expected from Saturday’s collection, too.

Organizers said this was the most food donations they have received in the past 15 years of the program.
