Late last week, Tracy police made two new arrests in the Amore’s shooting case.

On Thursday, Natalie Elizabeth Martinez, 45, and Julissa Marie Martinez, 19, were picked up by Tracy police. According to information from the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, they were booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp early Friday morning.

Both were arrested on suspicion of accessory to murder and street terrorism, Tracy police spokesman Sgt. Tony Sheneman said.

The arrests stem from an Oct. 10 shooting at Amore’s Italian Restaurant in downtown Tracy, where six people were injured and 41-year-old Naim Bey was killed.

Investigators say that Michael Mau of Tracy is the suspected shooter in the case.

Also arrested in connection with the shooting were Elvis Mendoza, Cecilia Naomi Colon, Maria de la Luz Martinez and Johnny Martinez.

Julissa is Johnny Martinez’s sister, and Natalie is his mother.

The two women arrested Thursday are being held on $300,000 bail and remain in county jail.
