The horrible tragedy that happened at Fort Hood, Texas, is to be condemned by all American Muslims.
For an American, this is very troubling that this should happen in America, that one soldier kills so many of his colleagues.
For a professional, it is sad to see that a mental health professional is so disturbed himself that he couldn’t find a better way to express his anger or disappointment.
For a Muslim, it is more disturbing that the action of a misguided individual will once again tarnish the image of all law-abiding Muslims in this country.
The perpetrator of this crime should be given the maximum punishment allowed under the law so that anyone thinking of carrying out such a crime would think many times before acting on it.
May God give peace to the soul of the dead and courage to their families to bear the loss.

I read it, but I still don't know what it means to be ostricized by one's own community only to be driven to do something so horrible to what is called, "my fellow American's"?
I wonder if Janet Napolitano knows that 13 great Americans were left dead and 29 wounded?
I would think her efforts would be to make sure terrorists attacks, like this would not happen again.
Thank You very much for your article, because many Americans believe Muslins, do not care. This shows you care, have feelings, show mercy and shed a tear. This is sad day for all Americans.
