West High will send two golfers and Tracy will send another to the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters tournament Nov. 3 at The Reserve in Stockton.

The three local girls qualified during Monday’s Division I South tournament at Merced Golf and Country Club.

West High’s Alice Trisri finished with a score of 90 on the par-72 course, which gave her sixth place overall for the tournament. Tracy’s top golfer in Monday’s event, freshman Jennifer Kim, qualified with a score of 91. West’s Belinda Mahan also will head to the Masters tournament after she finished with a 93.

Tracy was sixth with a team score of 555, and West was seventh at 566. Both were short of qualifying as teams for the Masters tournament. The top three teams were Lodi, in first place with a score of 486; St. Mary’s, 489; and Enochs, 513.

Fourth- and fifth-place teams were Turlock, 525; and Merced, 547. Beyer, 559, and Pitman, 597, finished eighth and ninth, respectively.

Other individual scores for West: Erin Whitcomb, 112; Shanna Garrett, 122; Julia Ramirez, 149; and Emma Brackett, 149.

Tracy’s other golfers included Taylor Slabaugh, 102; Devin Nicholson, 109; Emily Dellagana, 114; and Shelby Devlin, 139. Ana Jackson’s score was not recorded.
