The restaurant was shut down for lunch as more than a dozen people from the state agency and Tracy police detectives discussed what might have happened on the night of the shooting.
Investigators brought with them the old door with bullet holes and two broken windows and put it back on its hinges. They then stuck rods through the holes to see the trajectory of the bullets.
A state van with other equipment was parked in Amore's lot.
Naim Bey, 41, was shot in the head and killed and six others were wounded when shots rang out after a group of men were asked to leave the restaurant, which had been turned into a club with hip-hop music that night after the place closed at 10 p.m.
Prosecutors say Michael Dwayne Mau, 24, fired eight shots through the wood and glass front door after he and others got kicked out following a 1 a.m. scuffle. He faces 13 counts of homicide and street terrorism, and it’s alleged he’s a gang member.
Four other defendants face charges of being accessories after the fact and street terrorism, including Elvis Mendoza, 28 of Tracy; Johnny Martinez, 24, of Tracy; Cecilia Naomi Colon, 21 and Maria De La Luz Martinez, 21.
The five were in court Monday, where Judge George Abdallah declined to reduce their bail, set at $2.5 million for Mau and at $300,000 for the other four defendants.
Mau entered no plea Monday, while the others pleaded not guilty, and another hearing is scheduled for next month.

I hope they don't play gangsta rap in Italy? The mafia?
Ugh!!!
Your right, that doesn't make sense to me either. I think it's sloppy writing on TP Staff. More like 13 total charges including Homicide, Attempted Homicide and enhancements for using a gun, being a gang member, gang member using gun, etc.
I don't understand why there are 13 counts of homicide being charged or do those counts include the terrorism charges as well? Could someone please explain.
Service was great when I ate there. Too bad shooting took place there, really mars it.

I know one thing for certain. They weren't back for the food.

Send them a bible because soon they will be finding religion, like everyone else facing life without the possibility of parole.
