A caller reported at 7:52 p.m. Thursday that his 16-year-old son was beaten up and his phone was stolen in the parking lot of the Villalovoz Elementary School, 1550 Cypress Drive.

The father said two guys 17 or 18 walked up to him after they got out of a white Toyota four-door, asked him what he had and told him to empty his pockets.

They stole his phone after they “patted him down” and kicked him, the father said.

The Tracy Police Department received 169 calls for service Thursday. The following is a sample of those calls:

She later told an officer that she doesn’t own the place yet but is buying it, and she thought there were burglars still in the house. "7:03 a.m.: A tow truck was called for a 1991 Toyota Camry on the 4500 block of Lammers Road that was missing all four of it's tires and it's stereo."

At 8:59 a.m. it was alleged that someone resembling 'The Michalin Tire Man' was snapping his fingers to a "boom box" while holding a tire sale and a cat who'd recently escaped from an oil tank at Lynx Enterprises, 724 E. Grant Line Road, was issued a warning, while police picked-up the cat.
