The Tracy Police Department received 232 calls for service on Monday. The following is a sample of those calls:
12:13 a.m.: A caller from Denny’s, 3718 N. Tracy Blvd., reported three guys about 19 ran out on a $19.87 bill, hopped in a four-door Chevy Caprice, and drove off.
2:56 a.m.: A woman on the 300 block of West 22nd Street reported that she thought someone was taking things out of her backyard. Later she said, “it was just the wind.”
3:48 a.m.: A man on the 400 block of West Lowell Avenue reported seeing power lines “sparking” in his backyard. Firefighters showed up and notified Pacific Gas and Electric Co.
8 a.m.: A caller at Bessie Avenue and 11th Street reported a 40-foot tree limb fell into the street, and the caller helped a city worker move it out of the way.
8:40 a.m.: A caller at Carlton Way and Parker Avenue reported a tree limb was dangling above the street. City workers took care of it.
9:09 a.m.: A caller reported a power line in the street and sparks were flying at Eaton and Parker avenues. Firefighters and PG&E workers showed up.
9:31 a.m.: A man was arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp after a caller reported a man and woman were arguing on the 4600 block of Breckinridge Court. The caller heard the woman say, “Let go of me.”
10:44 a.m.: A man on the 100 block of East 10th Street reported someone was using his credit card number to pay for gasoline.
10:49 p.m.: A man said his “ex-roommate stole some of his personal items” from the 400 block of Arezzo Way. The “ex-roommate” was his ex-wife, he told police, and the two lives together in Stockton and in Tracy even after their divorce three years ago. But when she moved out three weeks ago, she took some of his stuff, saying she’d give it back to him. But she changed her mind, he said, saying she’d give it back only if he paid back child support he owed her. Police told the man to take up the issue in civil court.
12:08 p.m.: A caller reported a pit bull attacked another pit bull on the 200 block of West Carlton Way.
12:10 p.m.: A man reported a burglar “thrashed” his home and stole a television on the 200 block of West Carlton Way.
12:33 p.m.: A caller reported two boys broke into a house through the back door on the 4300 block of Roxbury Drive. The caller’s brother phoned the homeowner, who was on his way from Livermore. Police said three boys about 16 to 18 years old eventually came out of the house.
1:04 p.m.: A caller reported a man in his 20s was masturbating in a car in the parking lot of Save Mart, 875 S. Tracy Blvd. Police detained one person.
1:07 p.m.: A caller reported tenants in a home on the 1500 bock of Gentry Lane forged “loan modification papers.”
1:33 p.m.: A man on the 200 block of Portico Way who had a tree fall on his car said asked police for a “case number” for insurance purposes.
1:38 p.m.: A caller reported removing a tree limb at Tracy Boulevard and Eaton Avenue.
1:44 p.m.: A woman on the 300 block of East 22nd Street reported her vacant home was broken into.
1:50 p.m.: A woman reported someone broke into her home by busting a bedroom window on the 1700 block of East Street.
2:11 p.m.: A caller reported her daughter in the past two days broke into the caller’s home on the 1700 block of Duncan Drive.
2:49 p.m.: Police arrested a man after searching his room at the Five Star Motel, 4881 W. 11th St.
3:15 p.m.: A man on the 4100 block of Reids Way reported his driver’s license, credit cards and cell phone were stolen from his car.
3:40 p.m.: A caller’s reported someone broke into her mother’s home and also stole her car on the 1800 block of Bayberry Lane.
3:45 p.m.: Police arrested a 24-year-old man on the 700 block of West Clover Road after he allegedly admitted to stealing $3,000 worth of merchandise.
4:03 p.m.: A home on the 300 block of Mount Oso Avenue was broken into, a caller reported.
8:50 p.m.: Police counseled a 17-year-old who hit his father and was “going crazy” in a home on the 1500 block of Henderson Court.
11:02 p.m.: Police arrested a 68-year-old man on suspicion of public drunkenness at Tracy Liquors, 1220 W. 11th St.
