Italian Catholic Oktoberfesta

The Italian Catholic Federation will host Oktoberfesta, a social dinner at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Bernard’s Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave.

Mike Bacchetti and his crew will serve sausage and peppers with all the fixings, plus dessert.

The cost is $8 to $10 for adults.

Egyptian Festival

St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church will host an Egyptian Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at 315 S. Orange Ave., in Ripon. There will be ancient Egyptian and Coptic art and jewelry as well as food, pastries, music and raffles.

Methodist Church fall festival

Tracy First United Methodist Church will host its Fall Festival from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the corner of East and Acacia streets. The festival will host hand-crafted fall and Christmas items, baked goods, artwork and candle making.

Key Club fundraiser

The West High Key Club will have a car wash fundraiser to benefit two charities.

The car wash is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Save Mart, 875 S. Tracy Blvd.

The tax-deductible cost for a car wash is $5, and for SUVs it’s $8. Checks can be made out either to UNICEF or the March of Dimes.

Arts commissioner wanted

The Tracy Arts Commission has a vacancy for the board that meets once a month and advises the City Council on matters that have to do with civic arts.

The commission meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. It’s a volunteer job, and candidates must live in city limits.

March of Dimes fundraiser

The Tracy March for Babies Relay will take place from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday at Williams Middle School, 1600 Tennis Lane.

Organizers bill the fundraiser as a day of fun, fellowship and festivities, a walkathon that also educates the public about how to have a healthy baby through talks on various topics for each hour of the nine-hour fundraiser.

Jefferson 4-H meeting

Jefferson’s next 4-H meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson School Cafeteria. Open enrollment is still available.

The Lolly Hansen Senior Center is accepting donations of turkeys for its senior Thanksgiving dinner, 5 p.m. Nov. 23 at 375 E. Ninth St.

Moose haunted house

The Tracy Moose Lodge will have a haunted house at 6 p.m. Oct. 23 and 24, and again on Oct. 30 at the lodge, 35 E. Sixth St. Ghosts, goblins and gremlins are welcome, and the cost is $3 plus one can of food that will be donated for the Brighter Christmas charity event.

Moose craft show

The Tracy Moose Lodge has scheduled a Christmas “boutique,” where arts and crafts, baked goods and jewelry will be sold.

It costs $25 to rent a table for the event set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 1 at the lodge, 35 E. Sixth St.
