The two girls are part of the Gymfinity Gymnastics team of Livermore, led by Jerod and Julianne Pimentel of Tracy.
Norvell finished third in the Level 5 division with an all-around score of 32.825, and May took sixth in that division with a score of 30.800.
Soccer champs include local player
The Livermore Storm of Livermore Youth Soccer Club and Tracy Extreme of Tracy United Competitive Soccer Club competed for the championship in the under-13 Division 3 of the Livermore Fall Classic tournament, Sept. 26 and 27.
The Livermore Storm, which includes Tracy player Gabrielle Enzmann on defense, beat Tracy Extreme, 4-1, on Sunday to go 4-0 for the tournament and take the tournament title.
