On Sept. 11 there were three 700s bowled in the Friday night Nevada Tours league at West Valley Bowl.

The high series of the night went to Reggie Knighten Jr., who shot a 777 series. Reggie’s first game was a 214, his second a nice 267, and he started his third game with 11 strikes in a row for a 296.

The second high series of the night goes to Zane Morgan, who shot a 764 series. Zane started his night off with a 275, but lost the high game pot to his teammate Mike Anastasio who shot a 280 in the first game. Zane then bowled a 223 and then came back with a 266 for his third game.

The third 700 series of the night went to Marshall Gentry. Marshall started his night with a 266, bowled 233 in his second game and 211 in the third for a series of 710.

On Sept. 17 Charles Roach shot 233, 235 and a 266 734 series. Also that night for the second time this year we hear from Darren Okamoto with a 729 series. Darren shot a 193, one pin under his average, the first game. He came back and shot a 279 and a 257.

On Sept. 22 in the Strikers, Martin Sanders shot a 222, 253 and a 256 for a series of 731. Great scores that same night came from Tim Melin, 278, Alan Oshier, 257, Zane Morgan, 246, Beth Sanders, 246, and Craig Miller, 243. Craig also shot a 228 and a 227 for a series of 698. Not bad for his third week back after not bowling for five years!
