The Tracy Police Department received 527 calls for service between Friday and Sunday. The following is a sample of those calls.
Sunday (172 calls):
12:46 a.m.: A caller from the 1200 block of Johnson Court said her car was vandalized.
2:01 a.m.: A man driving a white Chevy Avalanche reported that a gray Chevy pickup side-swiped him at MacArthur Drive and Yosemite Avenue.
2:08 a.m.: A caller from the Tracy Community Center, 950 East St., said that some people at the center were supposed to be out by 1 a.m., and even though she waited until 2, they still wouldn’t leave and still refused to clean up. Plus, they wanted their deposit back.
2:13 a.m.: A man whispered to the dispatcher that four guys with baseball bats were trying to attack him and his friends at West High School, 1775 W. Lowell Ave. The caller said he had been hiding for two hours at the school’s baseball field.
2:14 a.m.: A woman said someone driving a silver sports car threw “some type of homemade explosive” on her lawn on the 3400 block of Eagle Rock Loop.
2:31 a.m.: A caller said he heard shots fired at Monument Drive and Tracy Boulevard. Police said they might have been firecrackers.
2:52 a.m.: A caller said he heard three shots fired and saw a car speed off at Green Oaks Mobile Home Park, 2929 N. MacArthur Drive.
3:16 a.m.: A woman drove her car into a light pole at 11th Street and Lammers Road, trapping her in her car. She hurt her head, started crying and was taken to the hospital. Her car was towed and Pacific Gas & Electric was called because it looked like the pole needed to be replaced.
3:53 a.m.: Police arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of lewd conduct at North School, 2875 Holly Drive.
6:28 a.m.: A man reported that someone scratched “gang signs” all over his Cadillac Escalade on the 100 block of West Carlton Way.
6:57 a.m.: Someone reported two German shepherds on the loose at the Tracy Municipal Airport, 5749 S. Tracy Blvd.
7:29 a.m.: A caller reported that a fight broke out at the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road.
8:02 a.m.: Someone reported graffiti on the awnings at Kelly Park, 2155 Tamni Court.
8:49 a.m.: A caller from the 300 block of Sekera Court complained that some neighbors have a loud parrot.
9:55 a.m.: A woman said some kids got in a fight the night before in front of her house on the 1200 block of Walnut Street. She said she believes they were responsible for breaking some windows.
10:07 a.m.: A caller reported that a home was burglarized on the 1600 block of Whispering Wind Drive.
10:16 a.m.: A woman reported finding a soda bottle wrapped in foil that had exploded the night before on her front porch on the 600 block of Fawn Glen Drive.
10:18 a.m.: A caller reported a stolen laptop on the 1100 block of Wall Street.
10:19 a.m.: A gray Chevy Tahoe and a white Toyota collided at 11th Street and Corral Hollow Road. One driver complained of back pain, but she refused to be transported to the hospital.
10:20 a.m.: A caller said a dad who got into a fight at a kids soccer game was asked to leave, but was “flipping off everyone” as he walked away from Placencia Fields, 2200 Krohn Road.
10:44 a.m.: A caller reported a burglary in progress at Leggett & Platt, 2015 N. MacArthur Drive.
10:51 a.m.: A woman said that sometime during the night, someone drove a car over her front lawn on the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue.
12:47 p.m.: Someone reported a stolen laptop from the 2300 block of Gibralter Lane.
1:01 p.m.: A caller said a man driving a silver 1965 Chevy was spinning doughnuts in a parking lot on the 1000 block of Cambridge Place.
1:06 p.m.: Someone reported at the Tracy Police Department, 1000 Civic Center Drive, that a man was scamming people on Craigslist.org by trying to sell a car without a clean title.
1:52 p.m.: A caller reported two guys selling dogs in front of Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road.
4:03 p.m.: A caller said someone was selling goat meat from a home on the 400 block of West 21st Street.
4:07 p.m.: A caller said a “tall, tweaker dude” was trying to get several people to fight him on the 1900 block of Earl Way.
4:34 p.m.: A caller reported a possible burglary in progress on the 2000 block of Garrison Lane.
5:46 p.m.: Police arrested a 20-year-old woman on the 100 block of Country Court after towing her gray Honda Civic.
7:29 p.m.: A caller reported that some guy driving a Toyota Celica was trying to “pick up on young girls” at Zanussi Park, 1500 Promenade Circle. The report was unfounded, police said. The guy was a kid himself, there to meet his girlfriend with some friends.
7:52 p.m.: A woman said a former co-worker was stalking her, calling her 60 to 100 times a day and waiting for her after work. She went to the Tracy Police Department, 1000 Civic Center Drive, to file a report.
9:04 p.m.: Police arrested a 42-year-old woman on drug charges at the Tracy Police Department, 1000 Civic Center Drive.
9:49 p.m.: A caller said a man brandished a large handgun with two barrels near Von Sosten Road and Mountain House Parkway.
10:16 p.m.: Someone reported three guys smoking pot on James Court.
10:55 p.m.: Police arrested four men on suspicion on drug charges after a traffic stop at 10th Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
11:11 p.m.: Police arrested three teenagers after a caller reported a burglary on the 1100 block of Chaplin Way.
Saturday (160 calls):
12:14 a.m.: During a traffic stop near the corner of 11th and Wall streets, a man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
1:38 a.m.: At Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, 1420 N. Tracy Boulevard, two teenagers were brought in by ambulance and another walked in, looking “heavily intoxicated,” after a party. The police log said several teenagers were picked up lying on curbs.
4:10 a.m.: A man was arrested on the 2900 block of Dixon Court on suspicion of resisting arrest and battery of an officer. The police log said he appeared “wasted” and was looking into cars and trying to get into them.
8:16 a.m.: A caller on the 700 block of Hemmingway Court complained about neighbors having a garage sale too soon after their last one, on June 13. Police told the caller this was not a violation of the municipal code.
8:55 a.m.: On the 1100 block of Palomar Drive, a caller’s house was hit with paintballs.
8:58 a.m.: A house on the 500 block of Racquet Drive was broken into and some items were reported missing.
9:40 a.m.: A caller said someone appeared to have burglarized Pavilion Dental, 2616 Pavilion Parkway.
10 a.m.: Graffiti with pink spray paint was reported on the BBQ pits at Fitzpatrick Park, 1355 Bluegrass Lane.
10:13 a.m.: Gasoline was stolen from U-Haul trucks at Tracy Mini Storage, 385 Enterprise Place.
11:54 a.m.: An owl flew into a woman’s house on the 300 block of West Tenth Street. She said she has “him covered in the corner.”
11:58 a.m.: A caller saw people possibly smoking marijuana in a Honda Accord on 1400 block of Yorkshire Loop. The car was gone when police arrived at 12:22 p.m.
12:29 p.m.: A woman said three guys pulled up to her house on the 1900 block of Willow Creek Road. One knocked on the door, and she replied “I’m not interested.” They drove away, which she thought was odd, the police log said.
3:27 p.m.: Police warned a family having a BBQ with about 75 people at Lincoln Park, at the corner of East Street and Eaton Avenue, that they needed to take down their bounce house and move their car off the grass.
3:30 p.m.: A caller, who was housesitting for a friend on the 1800 block of Persimmon Way, said that the house appears to have been burglarized. Someone kicked the front door in, he said.
4:52 p.m.: On the 2700 block of Naglee Road, a caller reported his office was broken into sometime on Friday.
5:47 p.m.: A caller on the 1000 block of Appalosa Way has been receiving death threats from gang members, the police log said. The caller’s sister-in-law’s car was pelted with rocks, too.
6:14 p.m.: Someone broke into a car at Blockbuster, 1212 W. 11th St., and stole the wallet of the caller’s brother. The thief then tried to purchase items using the brother’s money.
6:30 p.m.: A man was arrested on the 100 block of East 12th Street on suspicion of driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
6:46 p.m.: In a traffic stop on East Emerson Avenue, a man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and taken to San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
9:37 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at Tracy Inn, 24 W. 11th St.
10:28 p.m.: A caller complained about a party on the 2300 block of Alexis Lane with loud bass. Police went over and the party-goers agreed to turn the music down.
11:18 p.m.: On the 800 block of Arches Court a party escalated into a fight. When police arrived at 11:37, the fight was over.
Friday (195):
12:48 a.m.: A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in a traffic stop on the 800 block of West Grant Line Road.
1:06 a.m.: Near the corner of Lincoln Boulevard and Lowell Avenue, a 25-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
1:22 a.m.: Someone played doorbell ditch on the 1500 block of Teakwood Drive, a caller said. A similar call was placed three minutes later.
2:20 a.m.: A 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness on the 1300 block of Michelle Avenue. She was banging on a caller’s door and jiggling doorknobs. The police log said she was also yelling and talking to herself.
3:55 a.m.: At Quik Stop, 1153 Lincoln Blvd., a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of spousal battery.
4:15 a.m.: A caller on the 1300 block of Whispering Wind drive caught two guys in the act of trying to break into his van. They ran away toward Traina School. Police couldn’t find them.
8:10 a.m.: A man on the 600 block of Menay Drive said his two cars — both Toyota Corollas — were burglarized.
8:41 a.m.: On the first block of West Sixth Street, a caller said a bunch of homeless people were camped out under a large tree. The caller wanted them moved.
9:22 a.m.: A woman on the 1800 block of Geranium Way said someone from Tennessee may have stolen her identity and opened a credit card account.
9:31 a.m.: A caller said that graffiti has been on a wall at Royal Motel, 1201 W. 11th St., for about a month.
10 a.m.: A caller said her sister’s car was egged sometime Thursday night on the 1900 block of Lotus Way.
11:04 a.m.: A man on the 30 block of East Highland Avenue said he might be getting scammed by a guy from Canada.
2:30 p.m.: A woman on the 4200 block of Oakridge Drive said she had been receiving harassing phone calls from her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend.
3:58 p.m.: On the 700 block of West Tenth Street, a 10-year-old boy was threatening his sister with knives and screwdrivers. His mother took away the objects.
4:11 p.m.: A man’s car was broken into on the 1700 block of Birchwood Drive. The caller found out about it when his neighbor came over to say his personal papers were all over the lawn.
6:17 p.m.: A 21-year-old man who had a warrant out for his arrest was arrested at John Erb Park, 2264 Barcelona Drive. He was one of four adults, the police log said, drinking beer in the park.
7:07 p.m.: Someone took plywood off the windows of a vacant house on the 2900 block of North Corral Hollow Road and vandalized the place.
7:44 p.m.: Two kids were taken into custody at JC Penney, 3100 Naglee Road, on suspicion of petty theft.
8:05 p.m.: At South Elementary, 500 W. Mt. Diablo Avenue, a caller said three guys were walking around carrying long guns. Police couldn’t find them.
10:15 p.m.: A woman on the 1400 block of Promenade Circle said her dad was drunk and yelling at her mother. When police arrived, the dad said he was angry that his daughter did not clean up after himself. The daughter and mother left the house until the father calmed down. No crime was committed, the police log said.
10:58 p.m.: During a traffic stop near Parker Avenue and 20th Street, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
11:20 p.m.: A 44-year-old man who had a warrant out for his arrest from Santa Clara County was arrested in a traffic stop at Big O Tires, 940 N. Central Ave.
11:54 p.m.: A caller reported a loud party with underage drinking on the 900 block of North West Street.
