All 850 students in the K-8 school joined in, with the younger grades in the morning jumping rope in the morning.

The students spent 15 minutes at a time in different jump rope station trying everything from solo jumping to Double Dutch and different games. Money collected go to the American Heart Association in the memory of former teacher Becky Herrick who died of a heart attack in 2007. This was the first time the school participated in the event.
