A woman called at 9:45 p.m. from the 200 block of West Eaton Avenue to report her son was stabbed in the neck with a beer bottle by his ex-girlfriend.

She said the suspect lives in the Tracy Park Apartments, and that she took off south on F Street.

The son was taken in an ambulance to the emergency room.

Tracy police responded to 155 calls for service on Monday. The following is a sampling of those reports:

1:27 a.m.: A woman said she heard screaming from her mother’s apartment at Melrose Manor, 2925 Sunset Way. An earlier caller reported a large fight between guys with sticks and bats. A third caller reported a shirtless man had a fire extinguisher, and someone heard glass breaking in the parking lot, where the man punched a car, and screamed as he hit stairs. Police arrested a 32-year-old man, who had a cut on his hand.

1:29 a.m.: A caller reported hearing two gunshots at a park at Whispering Wind and Regis drives, and seeing two men with cell phones at the park. An officer checked the area nine minutes later and saw nothing suspicious.

2:03 a.m.: A man reported five or six kids were walking toward Tracy High School, 315 E. 11th St., as he drove by in a truck. One of the kids was lying in the street, then tried to “jump in front of his truck.” The kids were gone when police showed up 20 minutes later.

2:48 a.m.: A woman said there were a lot of kids at a vacant home next door to her on the 300 block of Violet Place, but they scattered in all directions when she told them to leave. Police caught up with three boys, one of whom was the son of the caller, and “counseled” them. Police saw no signs of damage inside the home, or any sign outside that the kids had been drinking.

9:05 a.m.: A woman said someone spray painted her car on the 400 block of Jill Drive.

9:17 a.m.: A man said he found “some type of drugs” in his driveway on the 4100 block of Glenhaven Drive. Police picked up a small red package that had two pills inside it and destroyed it at the police station.

11:50 a.m.: A caller said four kids about 12 years old were throwing rocks into the road at Dominique and Elissagaray drives. One of the kids hid behind a fountain, the caller said, and another had his arm in a sling. The kids were gone when police arrived 22 minutes later and no rocks were seen in the street.

12:39 p.m.: A caller from Best Buy, 2550 Naglee Road, reported five guys and a woman broke into the caller’s Mitsubishi Eclipse and swiped stereo equipment.

12:55 p.m.: A caller from JT Storage, 2460 Toste Road, reported a white travel trailer was stolen.

1:05 p.m.: A caller from Taco Bell, 915 S. Tracy Blvd., reported a man chasing a suspected bike thief fell and broke his leg.

1:20 p.m.: A woman said she was assaulted Saturday night by a security guard at Maxim’s, 3380 N. Tracy Blvd. She said her friends reported the incident to the police, but she “got scared and said nothing happened.” She asked an officer “to speak with management so it doesn’t happen again to someone else.”

3:43 p.m.: A caller reported a Volkswagen “bug” belonging to a neighbor has no license plate, other than “paper” plates that seem to get changed every month or so. Police towed the car.

4:33 p.m.: A caller reported a woman lying on the sidewalk with her foot in the street at the Safeway gas station, 1987 W. 11th St. An ambulance employee discovered that the woman was “taking a nap.”

5:06 p.m.: A man said his burgundy Toyota Tacoma extended cab pickup was stolen from Wilson Way Tires, 1133 W. 11th St.

8:52 p.m.: A caller at Bob’s Market, 854 W. 11th St., said he installed a cash register and then got into an argument with the owner refused to pay for it. The caller said the owner grabbed his arm, and the he removed the cash register he just put it.

9:09 p.m.: Graffiti was reported at the Ninety-Nine Cents Only Store, 1320 W. 11th St.

9:23 p.m.: A caller reported a car burglary at the Park and Ride, 2650 Naglee Road.

9:44 p.m.: A woman said kids drove a pickup to Tracy Press Park, 731 Weeping Willow Lane, and she could hear spray paint cans. Police found black graffiti at the park.

I too remember a similar scripted incident which took place on West Sunset Blvd., and titled

'Melrose Place'. It was based loosely from an actual event which happened off Nut Tree Way, in Vacaville, CA.

Update:

The "third caller" was reminded "they'll be given a harty warning by police if someone called back again, do to a recent precedent case "of too many calls from a woman who kept hearing voices and tied-up 9-1-1 emergency dispatch officers for hours" under the new law, "3 calls and your out!"

I witnessed this years ago in Orange County. A loser kid high on a meth/LSD combo used to hide in the bushes near my house. Ran out in front of oncoming traffic waving his arms doing a Bigfoot impression. All went well till he ran out to confront an oncoming Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle doing 90mph. Tragedy ensued and the gene pool got cleaned up a little.

I witnessed this in Orange County years ago. I had one of those neighbors from Hades with three loser sons. The oldest was in prison, the younger had a rap sheet a mile long and the youngest a 14 year old was spawn of Satan and heavy into doing meth/LSD combos. The brats used to throw parties. Nxt morning I'd go out and fill a trash can with hypodermic syringes and other druggie castoffs.

Late one night I was laying in bed. Thought I heard

It probably is a 30 second walk, but you have to remember the police had to drive, and they stopped for donuts and coffee along the way.

Whatta coincidence. Right now I've got Pat Benatar's Love is a Battlefield playing at nuke volume on my stereo. Good moosic and beer are essential to survival in my desert ghost town. I have 50lbs of moosic CDs. Everything from Serbian moosic star Boban Markovic to Zager & Evans In the Year 2525,Patti Smith's Horses album, the Singing Nun by Dominique,Josephine Baker,Tex Williams,Insane Clown Posse, the Velvet Underground and SOO much more. In the desert you've got to be ready for whatever mood strikes you.

My advice to the boyfriend is I've dated girls like that back during the late 1960s/early 70s. I called them Manson family girls. They're fun but dangerous. Fear adds to the pleasure but you've GOT to watch your back.

Isn't TRacy High like a 30 or so second walk from the TPD?
