The Tracy Arts Commission’s free Music in the Park concert series opened Thursday night with the Cheeseballs, a cover band that plays hits from the '70s, '80s and '90s.

Hundreds of Tracy residents showed up with their lawnchairs and blankets for the lively performance.

The Lincoln Park series will continue through July, with Mabo Tropical and its reggae-Polynesian music on tap for next week.

The music begins at 7 p.m.
