EDITOR,

On Sept. 11, 2001, 2,973 people were killed in the U.S. One of the men who was key to planning this act of murder — Khalid Sheikh Mohammed — was in prison in Guantanamo.

Now, we’re watching spending, right? So the solution is to transport him to the United States for a trial? What is the sentence going to be, a spanking? How many murders do you have to commit, plan and take an active role in for the death sentence to be part of the plan here — and what about speedy? He was captured in 2005.

Sure, we have to consider fair trial and the Constitution. But this man doesn’t live in this country and isn’t part of it, so normal law should not apply, and it doesn’t appear we’re following any laws, anyway.

Let’s bury him under 40 million tons of rubble. No, that would be cruel. Let’s forget all about it. Time served should do.

The plan to cut spending is never going to happen. Now we’re going to import criminals and spend more money on them in our courts. The spending goes on, as it has for close to a decade, in a fight we can’t really fight. At least Bush is no longer in office.

One sure way to curb spending is to empty all of our prisons of illegal alien prisoners and return them to their respectful countries of origin. Why are we housing thousands upon thousands of these people in our prisons? This would empty some of our prisons that could be used to house the homeless.

Also, Washington needs to not spend more than it is coming in. Too much money is being given out to countries like Pakistan, Egypt and many, many others who have no respect for the United States. I can understand them not respecting America at this point in time with what we have as President, but they are abusing the hands that feed their corrupt governments.

In Sacramento Governor Brown signed into law for illegals to get college tuition assistance. What kind of stupidity is this by this irresponsible governor? That is our hard earned tax money being used to educate those that have no respect for our sovereignty.

MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA, OUR TROOPS AND GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE - ISRAEL
