EDITOR,

I made a comment about the state’s propositions a couple of weeks ago, and it was not published. I think I may have hit a nerve with the party responsible for editing my letter. I would hope the editor would not be selective and let all views be heard.

I’ve heard from one individual who says the Press will no longer allow any of his/her writings to be printed. I believe this is an injustice to the readership.

The propositions mentioned above are a Ponzi scheme, which are not fixing the problem we have, and that is in Sacramento. The legislators are not looking out for our benefit — they are looking out for themselves. Every one of these propositions is nothing more than taking from one area and putting it on another area and calling it budget reform.

The problem our politicians have is a spending problem. They do not have a fiscally responsible solution to our budget. If voters read the propositions, they would know what is really going on.

If we're going to call an election an "Ponzi scheme"... what happened in November?
