Tracy swimmer heads for section finals

Tracy High freshman swimmer Ella Green will compete in two events today in the Sac-Joaquin Section finals at Tokay High in Lodi.

Green is seeded sixth in the freshman-sophomore 50-yard freestyle after she qualified with a time of 25.97 seconds at Thursday’s trials. She also qualified in the freshman-sophomore 100 backstroke and is seeded fifth with a time of 1:03.75.

She is the only member of the Tracy High team to make it to the finals.
