Larry Brown, 67, of Appleton, Wis., died Thursday, Sept. 4, at his home as a result of complications from a stroke he suffered a year ago. Mr. Brown attended Tracy schools, graduating from Tracy High School in 1964, and worked many years at his parents’ business, Tracy Appliance. No services are planned. Norma Irene Noceti, 93, of Tracy, died Tuesday, Sept. 2. Services will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery, Harney Lane at Highway 99, in Lodi. (For more, see the Sept. 12 Tracy Press.)

Virginia Cooper, 77, a 1954 Tracy High School graduate, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, at New Hope Care Center. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Burial will follow in Little Arlington at the Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the mortuary. Contributions in Mrs. Cooper’s name may be sent to Encounter Church for “Barcelonas,” 2406 Del Paso Road, Sacramento, CA 95834.

Cindy Poso, 59, a 15-year Tracy resident, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, at her Tracy home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St., in Santa Clara. Contributions in Mrs. Poso’s name may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.

Frank R. Silva, 82, a longtime Tracy resident and Southern Pacific Railroad retiree, died Monday, Sept. 1. A Mass will be celebrated for Mr. Silva at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed beginning at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Arnold L. Silva, 87, of Manteca, a former Tracy resident, died Sunday, Aug. 31, at Oak Valley Care Center in Oakdale. Services will begin at noon Friday, Sept. 5, in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. to noon that same day. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Contributions in Mr. Silva’s name may be sent to the American Heart Association, 1710 Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, CA 94010; or to United Blood Centers of the Pacific, Attn: Lynne Moore, 270 Masonic Ave., San Francisco, CA 94118.

Cerita K. (Ensey) Pauley, 61, of Ceres, a Tracy native and longtime chef, died Aug. 25 in Ceres. A celebration of her life will begin at 1 p.m. Sept. 12 at Freedom Christian Center, 700 N. Union St., in Manteca. Arrangements will be handled by Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 704 12th St., in Modesto. Contributions in Mrs. Pauley’s name may be sent to the Hope Family Shelter, 528 W. Yosemite Ave., Manteca, CA 95337.

Barbara Ann (Kilbourne) Larson, 48, of Tracy, died Aug. 21, six years after being diagnosed with breast cancer. A longtime teacher, she had worked at McKinley and North schools and throughout Tracy Unified School District as a behavioral specialist. A celebration of her life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by a luncheon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Life Center, 1635 Chester Drive. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in Mrs. Larson’s name to Camp Kesem, a camp for children of cancer patients, P.O. Box 452, Culver City, CA 90232; or to a memorial fund for the benefit of her children, Logan and Lauren Larson, through Golden 1 Credit Union, 3202 W. Grant Line Road, Tracy, CA 95304.
