Longtime Tracy resident Nina Juarez, 66, died July 1 in Tracy after a brief illness. No services are planned.

A resident of Tracy for 31 years, she had worked as a teaching assistant at West High School since the school opened. She was born May 6, 1948.

Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Potter of Tracy and Tara Benz and Alva D. McGuire, both of Stockton; one mother, Lafon Christensen of Nice; a sister, Shannon Lyle of Placerville; and five grandchildren.
