Mr. Yniguez, a native of Jalisco, Mexico, was born May 5, 1929. He retired from Holly Sugar Corp. after 44 years at the local mill. He was a member of the Guadalupe Society of Tracy and a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Rangel of Tracy; six children, Deborah Pine, and her husband, Gary, of Tracy, Rosemary Ponte, and her husband, Emanuel, of Stockton, Adrianna Krevitz, and her husband, Steve, of San Ramon, Leticia Yniguez, and her husband, Steve Soma, of Vernonia, Ore., Glicerio Yniguez Jr., and his wife, Tanya, of Modesto and Felicitas Rodriguez, and her husband, Pablo, of Turlock; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Guadalupe Cuellar of Jalisco; a brother, Roberto Yniguez, and his wife, Sylvia; three sisters-in-law, Tillie Castellon and Elia Yniguez, both of Tracy, and Sister Andrea Rangel of Sisters of the Holy Family, Fremont; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Claudia Yniguez; his parents, Rosa and Glicerio Yniguez; two sisters, Piedad Herrera and Esperanza Hernandez Yniguez; and a brother, David Yniguez.
Friday’s Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements.
