Services are Friday afternoon for Ronald Eugene Rines Sr., 56, a longtime Tracy resident, who died Friday in Tracy.

Born in Fresno on Sept. 20, 1957, Mr. Rines graduated from Dublin High School and moved to Tracy in 1983. He worked as a journeyman diesel mechanic for White GMC of Oakland and previously had his own shop in Tracy, Automotive Performance, in the 1990s.

Survivors include four children, Ronald Eugene “Ronnie” Rines Jr., and his wife, Samantha, of Tracy, Diane Christine Rines St. John, and her husband, Joel, of Tracy, and Thomas James Rines and Sarah Rose Nicole Rines, both of Livermore; his parents. Norma and Jim Rines of Tracy; and two brothers, Larry Rines of Millbrae and Kenny Rines of Tracy.

Friday’s services are from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave.
